Today I share how our circumstances may not change but as we list out what we are grateful for that we begin to change. Our perspective changes and we are able to appreciate things or people that we tend to take for granted. I pray that encourages you as you go on about your week.
A beautiful description of the revival we see taking place in the next Generation. “So Elihu son of Barakel the Buzite said: “I am young in years, and you are old; that is why I was fearful, not daring to tell you what I know. I thought, ‘Age should speak; advanced years should teach wisdom.' But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.” Job 32:6-8 NIV Another scripture that goes well with this is found in Job 28:28 NLT "And he said to man, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding." It is beautiful how gentle, kind, and simple God makes His desires known to us. He longs for us and wants for us to have a relationship with him. He longs to be in every detail of our lives.
Today I share with you how beautiful it is being a part of the Body of Christ. I also share with you about the revival that's been going on and what it means. I also share how quickly we are to take our gaze off of God and encourage you and I to turn our hearts, mind, and every part of our being back to Him. I pray that this will encourage you to keep pushing through, to keep investing in yourself and to invest in the lives of those around you. I know so many of us wanted to wish 2020 away but I had a conversation with my mentor that really challenged me to dig deeper and to be intentional about the things that I learned last year. Nature has a crazy way of teaching us about life. For example trees weather through so many storms, through cold winters, and they're still standing tall.
