In this episode, I'm reintroducing myself, my work, and the deeper mission behind Find Your WAI.After almost a decade of healing, therapy, personal development, Human Design, plant medicine, nervous system work, courses, mentors, and doing “all the things,” I hit the point so many of us secretly reach:What the f*ck is wrong with me?Why am I still struggling with money, business, love, visibility, receiving, and actually living the life I know I'm here for? This episode is the story of how Find Your WAI was born from the question “Who am I?” and how my work has evolved from healing and information into something much deeper: embodiment, capacity, Human Design, somatic work, and learning how actually to hold the life you keep calling in.I share the behind-the-scenes of my own death and rebirth season, the investment that logically made no sense but changed everything, the somatic work that cracked open my body, and the creation of Alchemy of You, my 70+ page customized Human Design operating manual for your mind and body.Because you don't get what you want. You get what you can hold. And this new era of Find Your WAI is here to help you answer who you are, increase your capacity, and start living by your design.Find Your WAI Offer Suite:

All Bones Considered: Laurel Hill Stories #085, part 1 for April 2, 2026 I have already talked about the 250 statues inside Philadelphia's City Hall back in ABC:LHS #018, part 1. But including Billy Penn on top, eight named statues also grace the building's outside, including two Civil War generals, a martyred US president, a civil rights hero, a merchant king, and two others. Industrialist / capitalist / philanthropist Matthias Baldwin and John Christian Bullitt, the lawyer who rewrote the city's charter are at Laurel Hill East. Hear their stories, plus two other fascinating character studies, in this month's episode.

Whether you're a new listener or have been here since the start, Anna and Raven introduce themselves and are extremely thrilled to have you on board this wild journey. It's a great time, you won't regret it! Anna had a red flag feeling about a company's 85% success rate- especially considering she'd be paying a chunk of money to this company. What percent is too low? Alyssa Lius' piercings that look painful were apparently easier than we all assumed. Mind you, she did it herself. Producer Justin has a painful piercing story after his pre- apprentice friend used him as a Guinea pig. Surprise parties, yes or no? Anna attended one this weekend which raised the debate- are surprise parties still a thing? Anna's type-A-ness sways her away from keeping them in style. Trending is Seth Rogan's beautiful speech to Catherine Ohara after her win at the Actor Awards. Anna saw (and missed) Seth Rogan in LA after her tour guide failed to give the secret word. It's Read Across America Day and Anna discusses her oops on this day. An influencer goes wild after supposedly spreading the word online to use the coffee maker in your hotel to room to clean your dirty underwear in the case that you forget enough pairs. March is the most feared month out of the year. Which raises the question- what is your irrational fear. Instead of being afraid of March, Producer Sophia reveals her somewhat similar fully irrational fear. Anna's husband, Paul had an interesting flight recently after his seat neighbor brought aboard a very suspicious meal, who then proceeded to fall asleep on Paul's shoulder. Planes are weird places. Lauren is constantly texting her ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend, Peter, is sick of it. He thinks it's disrespectful to him that she's always on a chain with him. Lauren says that she shares a child with her ex with shared custody, and they'll always be friends, even family. He says that there are boundaries and she's crossing the boundaries when she texts with him every day, even when he doesn't have their son. He thinks he's trying to win her back because he knows that he made a mistake by cheating on her. She says to just trust her. What do you think? Jill has a chance to win $2700! All he has to do is answer more pop culture questions than Raven in Can't Beat Raven!
After some time away, I'm reintroducing myself — not just as a podcaster, but as a survivor, advocate, and woman who refuses to quit. Life happens. Growth happens. Delays happen. But purpose never leaves. In this episode, I'm sharing where I've been, what's been on my heart, and why the I'm a Survivor Podcast still matters more than ever. This isn't just a comeback — it's the next chapter. If you've been here since 2019, thank you for your patience and loyalty. If you're new here, welcome to a space where stories are honored, healing is real, and survivors are seen. I'm grateful for every listener, every message, every share, and every prayer. The next chapter begins now.

Just a reintroductionPlease listen!
This is an episode you can have playing in the background as I give you a little bio and reintroduction to the podcast. ☺️ I'm reintroducing myself and the podcast after being in a bit of a transition. I share my story from losing both parents, to meeting my husband Bill in a bar back in '97, to navigating life with our 24-year-old son and our rescue corgi, Franklin Blue. I open up about my journey to sobriety, which started at 43 when I realized alcohol wasn't serving me anymore. After 30 years of drinking and almost two years of trying to moderate, I quit on August 11th, 2013. Now, 12 years later, I'm all in on living alcohol-free and helping other midlife women do the same. What to expect moving forward - this podcast is a love letter to women in midlife. I will have episodes that cover aging, welllness, and designing an alcohol-free lifestyle alcohol can't touch. Us midlife women, ROCK! Thank you for listening. I'm with you. Support Me & The Pod Leave a rating and review on Apple Buy Me a Coffee Stay Connected Sign up to receive my newsletter in February. In the past, I've shared about mainly the homestead part of myself on this podcast. Not because I was hiding the rest of me—but because the rest didn't really fit the homestead narrative. But lately… it's been shifting. The homestead part of me is still woven into my days, but it's not the headline anymore. It's moved to the background, and other parts of me are finally coming up for air.So this feels like the perfect time for a reintroduction and a closer look at some of my rough edges.Podcast Episode Highlights:Why I'm doing a reintroductionMy deep connection to horses Hot or cold personalityMy beauty routineMy thoughts on pop cultureMove fast, think fast, talk fast, etc.How I talk and how I lookMy clothes preferenceMy intolerance for current Instagram trends about womenMy thoughts on homestead content right nowWhat I love to readMy thoughts on politics and religionFinal thoughts on rough edgesResources Mentioned in This Podcast Episode:Find my Old-Fashioned on Purpose planner here: https://www.prairieplanner.com/Sign up for my Substack here: https://jillwinger.substack.com/OTHER HELPFUL RESOURCES FOR YOUR HOMESTEAD: Sign up for weekly musings from my homestead: http://theprairiehomestead.com/letter Get my free homesteading tutorials & recipes here: www.theprairiehomestead.com Jill on Instagram: @jill.winger Jill on Facebook: http://facebook.com/theprairiehomestead Apply to be a guest on the Old-Fashioned on Purpose podcast: https://www.theprairiehomestead.com/podcast-guest-application Did you enjoy listening to this episode? Colorado hunting and science-based wildlife management have been in the crosshairs for years, and things are not looking any better. This week's guest is Josh Wamboldt, a Colorado resident, outfitter, and by self-initiation a subject matter expert on the wolf reintroduction efforts and management practices currently happening in his State. Josh is very vocal about not being strictly "anti-wolf", but he has many concerns and issues with how Colorado has handled their wolf populations, and the practices they execute moving forward. We talk in detail about all the events, adjustments and migrations pertaining to wolf populations since the reintroduction, where Colorado is failing wildlife and residents with the current situations, and other factors and rumors surrounding CWD, their impact on other species and ranchers, and more. This is a very education conversation, and recorded as a live episode with active audience engagement we are happy to share this very informative discussion. Ever wonder who's really behind the Designer Discussions podcast? Meet Jason, Miriam, and Maria – three industry experts who joined forces to create a no-nonsense resource for design professionals navigating the complex worlds of marketing, PR, and business growth.Jason brings a unique dual perspective as both an architect and marketing agency owner. His journey began teaching at LSU, implementing marketing strategies for his own firm before expanding to help other designers. This blend of architectural expertise and marketing know-how gives him unparalleled insight into the challenges design professionals face from multiple angles.Miriam (who good-naturedly mentions being mistakenly called Swedish when she's actually Swiss) contributes over 20 years of PR expertise, including nearly 15 years leading PR for Kohler's kitchen and bath division. After establishing her boutique PR firm, she recognized that traditional publicity services were often financially out of reach for many designers, which inspired her to create more accessible solutions. Her international background and deep industry connections make her a powerhouse resource for design professionals seeking media attention.Maria rounds out the trio with 20+ years of interior design experience and what she calls a "tech-forward" mindset. As a University of Texas graduate who approaches design business challenges fearlessly, she cuts through industry fearmongering to deliver practical technology and business advice based on real application rather than anxiety-inducing tactics. What began as a Clubhouse room during the pandemic has evolved into a comprehensive resource including the podcast, the Designer Discussions Academy, and personalized services – all designed to simplify marketing and boost business for design professionals. The team's organic growth reflects their genuine commitment to helping others succeed through strategic, integrated approaches rather than quick fixes or intimidation tactics.Ready to transform your design business with guidance from experts who understand your unique challenges? Louis-Vincent Gave returns with a blunt assessment of a global order fraying at key seams. Construction is stalling. Trade policy is adrift. Capital is retreating from the U.S. And yet, markets hum along... propped up by AI euphoria and the illusion of fiscal permanence. In this conversation with Alan Dunne, Louis questions whether investors grasp the shifting ground beneath their feet: from rising tariff walls to energy fragility, from the quiet restructuring of China's financial system to the early signals of capital rotation into emerging markets. If this is a transition phase, most portfolios aren't built for what comes next.-----50 YEARS OF TREND FOLLOWING BOOK AND BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO FOR ACCREDITED INVESTORS - CLICK HERE-----Follow Niels on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube or via the TTU website.IT's TRUE ? – most CIO's read 50+ books each year – get your FREE copy of the Ultimate Guide to the Best Investment Books ever written here. And you can get a free copy of my latest book “Ten Reasons to Add Trend Following to Your Portfolio” here.Learn more about the Trend Barometer here.Send your questions to info@toptradersunplugged.comAnd please share this episode with a like-minded friend and leave an honest Rating & Review on iTunes or Spotify so more people can discover the podcast.Follow Alan on Twitter.Follow Louis on Twitter.Episode TimeStamps: 02:20 - (Re)Introduction to Louis Gave03:45 - Gave's analysis of the current economic data09:45 - What causes the weakening of the economy?11:54 - The outlook for tariffs - will they eventually become stable?16:16 - The future for inflation - will it become more persistent over time?20:43 - The risk factors of energy markets25:51 - Will we see a Fed cut in September?26:58 - Powell - in or out?31:13 - We are seeing a paradigm shift in the US Dollar38:26 - The outcome of the AI revolution43:03 - Deficits are like tequila shots46:55 -...
