Episode 77: Navigating Life as an Emotional Authority Introduction In today's episode, Stacy delves into the world of Emotional Authorities as she continues with the series on decision making authorities in Human Design. She challenges the belief that quick decisions are necessary in today's fast-paced world and explores the true nature of decision-making for emotional authorities. Understanding Your Emotional Authority Stacy emphasizes that emotional authorities are designed to wait for clarity and should avoid spontaneous decisions. The impact of societal pressures on the tendency to make hasty decisions without allowing the emotional wave to settle. Stacy explains the concept of the emotional wave and why it's crucial to wait for it to achieve clarity. Adopting phrases like "let me sit with that" and giving oneself the necessary time to ride out the emotional wave before making decisions. Stacy shares that for emotional authorities, much of life is lived in the in-between, waiting for answers. The importance of relaxing, being present, and having fun during this waiting period instead of obsessing over finding the answer. Common Questions for Emotional Authorities Stacy addresses common questions, including what to do while waiting for clarity. The significance of having fun, being present, and trusting that the answer will present itself when in a state of receptivity. Stacy provides guidance on handling a "no" and the variations such as "not right now" or needing more information. The importance of honoring the decision and moving forward, even if the reason behind the "no" is not immediately clear. Navigating Relationships with Emotional Authority Stacy explores the tension points in relationships between emotional authorities and those with faster-acting authorities. The risks of feeling pressured and making decisions out of external influences, leading to regret. Putting it Into Practice Practical advice for emotional authorities: give yourself time to make decisions, starting with a day for smaller decisions and a week for significant ones. Embracing the emotional flow during the decision-making process and understanding that clarity will come. Conclusion Episode 10 provides valuable insights for emotional authorities on navigating decision-making, embracing the waiting period, and living authentically. When it comes to finding your dream job, the skies the limit... For one woman, it meant finding something a little more grounded - literally. Dr. Rebecca Ray quit her day job as a Pilot to pursue her passion for Psychology. It was this this drive to help people become the best version of themselves which led to six best-selling self-help books... with another on the way. Although she's dedicated her career to help others navigate their way through this crazy thing we call life, Beck's own journey has come with many moments of anxiety, uncertainty and burnout. This interview is raw, authentic and EXACTLY what you need to hear if you're feeling a little lost on your own career path... See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
On this episode of the Zenhard Podcast we talk to Carlos Arcos and we explore the power of vibration and how it affects our ability to access information and create the life we desire. We emphasize the importance of being present in the moment. Together, we challenge the linear approach to achieving goals and propose a different perspective that may just change the way you view success.
SHOW NOTES: On this show…we are rising together by navigating life's challenges with perspective and empathy. No matter what age you are I think we can all agree, that life delivers some rough patches, knee-buckling blows, and what may feel like unsurmountable issue after issue. But guess what, just like your miraculous body has incredible self-healing capabilities, so does your resolve. The survival instinct is like a powerful toolbox loaded with things like will, problem-solving, adrenaline, logical thinking..just to name a few. We also have anger, fear, panic-grief, care, pleasure/lust, and play. Interestingly, it is thought that the most powerful instinct is “seeking”. Something that we generally give little thought or credence to. This is the instinct that moves us to explore our environment in order to meet our needs. All this to say, hang in there it may not be as bad as it seems and if it is, you've got skills to tap into to right the situation and get you moving forward. Five hundred years ago, Michel de Montaigne said: "My life has been filled with terrible misfortune; most of which never happened." Before you hitch up your saddle feathers, proclaiming the sky is falling let's take a much-needed pause to figure some things out.

Embracing Value in Childlessness: A Journey of Self-Discovery This week I found myself reflecting on the values that truly matter, particularly as someone who has faced the challenges of infertility. In today's episode, I invite you to explore the profound topic of self-value and the treasures that lie within us, often unnoticed. Discovering Personal Values: Let's take a moment to reflect on what we truly value about ourselves. Often, we spend time dwelling on what seems unfair or what we lack. But, this week, I encourage you to shift that focus onto the unique qualities that make you who you are. In my own journey, I've come to cherish lessons learned, the knowledge acquired, connections made, and the intuitive wisdom that guides me. The Symphony of Breath and Intuition: One aspect I want to delve into is the power of breath and intuition. Have you ever tuned in to the rhythm of your breath, especially during moments of discomfort or joy? It's a subtle yet profound guide, revealing insights about our inner state. Similarly, the voice of intuition often goes unrecognized. Today, let's celebrate these gifts and acknowledge their immense value in shaping our experiences. Navigating Life's Crossroads: When faced with significant decisions during my fertility journey, I discovered the importance of trusting my judgment. Whether contemplating adoption or getting and egg donor, the key was recognizing that every decision made was right for me at that moment. I encourage you to revisit your past decisions, acknowledging the strength and wisdom that guided you through challenging times. Valuing Infertility's Unexpected Gifts: A surprising revelation on my journey was coming to value my infertility. Beyond the struggles and heartaches, it opened doors to new perspectives and opportunities for personal growth. I've found fulfillment and meaning in unexpected places, and I want to encourage you to explore the unique gifts that your journey has brought into your life. Embracing Childlessness with Purpose: Embracing childlessness doesn't mean settling; rather, it's about recognizing the opportunities and desires unique to your path. I invite you to consider what you have, be it relationships, personal strengths, or unexplored possibilities. It's about finding joy and purpose in the present moment. Conclusion: As you embark on this journey of self-discovery, remember that your story is still unfolding. It's never too late to find meaning and purpose. Embrace what you have, stay open to new possibilities, and fuel your life with the things that truly bring you joy. Wishing you a beautiful week filled with self-discovery and love.

Join Greer and Whitnie in a thought-provoking episode of Life, Lemons & LemonDrops, where they ask, "Whose Decision Is It?" and dive into the complexities of making life-altering decisions in a world where everyone has an opinion. This week, they tackle a highly personal and significant choice: the decision to have a baby. This episode explores the intricate dynamics between personal choice and societal pressure in an era where social media amplifies voices on all aspects of life, from financial choices to deeply personal ones like starting a family. As the conversation unfolds, Greer and Whitnie shed light on the importance of aligning life choices with individual goals and values, particularly in contexts like pregnancy and family planning. They challenge listeners to reflect on the societal "need" for creating families and the pressures women and men face in this regard.
