Maya speaks from her own experience losing loved ones, and as emotions arise in this conversation, we witness the power of vulnerability and what happens when we move through our pain together.
We dive deep into Trauma: How it affects our emotions, actions, and how we relate to others. Severe trauma can have a significant impact on an individual, in extreme cases- causing total detachment from what makes us human. As our conversation unfolds, empathy and compassion come forward , as we never really know what a person is going through. When we allow ourselves to feel these emotions, in a safe space, we're able to release them in a healthy and productive way. Join Marina, Joe, Leah, and Maya on this episode recorded December 10, 2020.
