I break down each stage along with my overview of the race and how this race will predict events later down the road. The Tour Down Under brought out a lot of hot tech, bikes and kits. The Tour de France route dropped and that brought up a lot of discussions the past weeks about the tour and the possible problems brewing between teams. More specifically the leadership of Team Sky has been the favorite of debate, so I dive into that and give my opinion on the topic. There is a new kit from Trek Segafredo and the women’s kit is straight fire! In episode 15 I walk through how to diagnose and fix misshifting on your rear derailleur. This can sound dull, but we all know how annoying it is to have that one gear just not shift right and there is a load of things that can cause aside from cable tension. You will learn all of the things you need to know to address why you’re misshifting, so you will become the smartest one in your group ride. Also, I know roadies and MTB’s can quarrel about who is the coolest (roadies are cough,cough) but MTB can seriously make you a better road cyclist. The transfer market seems to be heating up as riders are moving away from teams. Mark Cavendish seems to make his decision on where he will ride next season, but will it be with Mclaren. Rapha is back in the Pro Peleton after a hiatus, but they are coming back with a punch as they plan to roll out a pro team in fixed gear, gravel and ultra-endurance events. Over in the tech world S-Works just unveiled an incredible new Triathlon bike that has the consumer in mind with the design, but not the price tag. This bike could impact how every bike is made from here on forward. If you thought E-bikes were just phase, Muc-Off has just released a full line of products to clean and lubricate e-bikes.
