As a social worker and a sibling herself, Emily has published her research and written in blogs, magazines and books. Stimmig dazu hat die Regisseurin Anika Rutkovsky in ihrer aktuellen Arbeit die Geschichte mal ins Kolonialzeitalter verlegt. Am Wochenende war die Premiere.

Diesmal begeben wir uns auf Goldsuche – mit Spitzhacke, Schaufel, Esel und Fisch.Lost Dutchman Mine, erschienen 1989 für Amiga, Atari ST und MS-DOS, war ein ungewöhnliches Spiel seiner Zeit: offen, ruhig und gnadenlos ehrlich. Er ist einer der wenigen, der noch aus eigener Erinnerung über den Nazi-Terror berichten kann. Vor genau 80 Jahren, am 27. Januar 1945, wurde das Konzentrations- und Vernichtungslager Auschwitz in Polen von der Roten Armee befreit. Mit diesem Lager errichteten die Nationalsozialisten die grösste Vernichtungsfabrik der Menschheitsgeschichte. Bis heute bleibt Auschwitz ein eindringliches Mahnmal dafür, wozu Menschen fähig sind, einander anzutun. Egon Holländer war sechs Jahre alt, als er von der Slowakei nach Auschwitz und später in weitere Konzentrationslager deportiert wurde.
