The Whovian Review podcaster Shelby Sweeney wrote, published, and narrated a pseudo-religious sci-fi/fantasy dramedy intertwined with an epic love story across time, space, and reality. It's called The Lord of Darkness and is available for purchase in ebook, paperback, and hardback here. Please enjoy this free audiobook of the gripping tale. ATTENTION HUMANITY! If you are human, this book is for you. If not, feel free to keep reading anyways. I bring you good tidings of the coming apocalypse! Details enclosed. Sincerely, Gabriel, Archangel of Communication P.S. Also enclosed are some pages sent to me by my future self. I haven't read them, for obvious reasons, but I think the source can be trusted.

Who is the deadly assassin? Could it be the Doctor? Join us on Gallifrey as we investigate this gripping tale.
The TARDIS is hijacked by a time-walking Tharil, who takes it to the gateway to the past and future, just in case negative space wasn't sci-fi enough. Adric becomes useful, and the Doctor tackles slavery. We say goodbye to the goodest boy ever to roll across the TARDIS threshold (and also Romana). Plenty to enjoy in this latest episode of The Whovian Review.
The Doctor, Romana, K-9, and stowaway Adric encounter another crashed ship in e-space, but this one contains vampires and a swinging pendulum of oppression. Listen quickly before this episode decays alongside its subject matter.
The Whovian Review is back at AwesomeCon to reimagine Doctor Who through the scope of the Doctor as a villain. While the Doctor travels the universe with heroic intent, their actions tell a darker and more complex tale. Join us as we delve into the Doctor's most villainous acts and elucidate the patterns of villainy that have been there all along.
Forget out of this world: this story is out of this universe! The Doctor, Romana, and K-9 are sucked into E-space (exo-space) where they face deadly mist and inadvertently recruit a teenager onto the TARDIS team.
Join us in our review of this story which answers the age-old question: what if the Doctor was imitated by a sentient cactus?
Googly eyed aliens posing as human assassin tradesmen who dont care about the life and death of inhabitants of the hive do not make for a very leisurely experience. The Doctor grows a beard, Romana is relegated to assistant to time experiments, K9 is destroyed by the ocean, and Argolis is a planet steeped in political intrigue. But what do we actually think of this 1980 story, the first one of the John Nathan-Turner era? Listen to find out if it was a success.
Soldeed steals the show when he becomes the most 'religious' leader in the history of the show. The Doctor and Romana, with the help of a certain robot dog, have to help a band of children sacrifices not become the sacrificed in this tale that includes the most pant ripping scene yet. Will we die of laughter in rating this story, or will we be scared out of our minds by the horrible Nimon?
Drug smuggling, monsters, a robot dog, and people getting high all make one wacky and zany story in the mythos that is Doctor Who. Will we get high off of our own laughter?
Chock full of innuendos, but lacking in metal, the Doctor, Romana, and K9 traverse a dystopian, plant-based society. Will they be eaten by the creature from the pit? Only the stars can say.

Haemavores and a Vicar, an "invalid" and his nurse, a Commander and a Captain, an Evil from the Dawn of Time and a Doctor. These elements are joined by Russians, bombs, a baby named Audrey, chess, guns, lots of water, and a very adult Ace. The penultimate classic tale is one for the history books as it takes place in 1940's England, but has twists and turns throughout.
Ace rediscovers the nature of the horror she encountered in an old abandoned spooky house, but well before she even arrives to the house to begin with. The Doctor and Ace are thrown into mystery and intrigue when they land in the home of Gabriel Chase, who is not exactly who he seems to be. The house servants and maids are scared to be there, Chase's daughter seems to have lost her mind, Redvers Fenn-Cooper never had his, Nimrod is completely out of his time, and Inspector Mackenzie wakes up after a very long nap. Will Ace be able to face her demons, or will she fall victim to Light and his scientific evil ways? Wicked!
Camelot!!!!! Boom!!!! Ace and the Doctor stumble into an Arthurian plot where Ace is pursued by Mordred and Morgaine, and the Doctor is mistakenly identified as Merlin. Or is he?! Brigadier Bambera meets Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge Stewart, and all hell breaks loose when the Destroyer arrives, literally!
Hemovores, viking curses, Russians, Brits, evil from the dawn of time. The Doctor and Ace face them all and more in this gripping tale.
Clowns! Murderous clowns! And a ring master. And a glowing hole. So much to fear amidst carnival music. Don't you dare go to the Greatest Show in the Galaxy!

The Doctor, cybermen, neo-Nazis, and a sorceress all vie for control of powerful living metal in this surprisingly lackluster anniversary special.
Don't be a killjoy or the Kandyman will get you! Join us as we delve into this intriguing Doctor Who story that vilifies the pursuit of happiness.
The Doctor's song of ice and fire complete with dragon and literal cliffhanger. Ace bursts on the scene like Nitro 9 and Mel moves on to new adventures.
Burton escapes with Mel as Gavrok chases after Delta and Billy. Meanwhile Weismuller and Hawk chase after a satelite, while Ray and the Doctor chase after Billy and Delta. The Toll Master chases after the Naravinos before the head to 1950's Earth as they are also being chased by Gavrok. Finally The Doctor chases after Gavrok, Burton, Bily, Vinny, and Murray before the chase finally ends. Yup its one of those stories.
Arg Matey! We join the Doctor, Yaz, and Yaz's companion Dan on an epic high sea adventure by hovering above the sea on a flying sailing ship. The Sea Devils fly, jump, and fall all over or around the gem keystone that everyone is looking for which is part of the Lost Treasure of Ji-Hun. But what happens when he is part of that lost treasure over 200 years in the future?! This episode is dissected, loved or hated by our audience, but ya gotta listen to find out where we all stand.

The Doctor is dying, but the cybermen won't let him go without at least one more adventure. Join the Whovian Review as we delve into this fun romp of an episode.
When Amy is separated from The Doctor and Rory she ends up having to wait about 36 years before she is able to see them again. On her own and fending for her life she grows accustomed to her loneliness and the only friendly handbot droid named Rory. Rory comes to save her and all his fantasies seem to come true when he ends up with two Amy's however he has to decide whether to take the Amy he knows and loves, or this future Amy who has hardened with time and space. Meanwhile the Doctor dabbles with large looking glass time machines and an unhappy TARDIS.
The Doctor and his companions come to help a frightened kid whose monsters seem to actually be real. Creepy dolls, character development, dark rooms: what more could you hope for?
Or we may shove him in a closet and kill the Doctor instead. River, or Melody, is on a killing spree, and shopping for new clothes at a Nazi filled restaurant. After regenerating River still believes her name is Melody, has no clue who she is to become, and is convinced that the Doctor's life is no longer worth living. She even tries to shoot the Doctor with a banana. Lets be honest when you try to kill Hitler and end up saving his life instead: time travel, you're doing it wrong.
A good Doctor goes to war, so good, so Doctor, so war. Meet Strax, meet Vastra, meet Jenny, meet Dorium, meet Lorna Bucket, and meet Colonel Run Away Manton. More characters than roundels the Doctor can locate in his TARDIS. Rory asks the Cybermen a question. The Headless Monks do not reveal how they keep their hoods on, and River Song lectures the Doctor about his name (and comforts her parents at the same time). So much to cover, so much to rate.
Exciting conclusion to this two parter that delves into the nature of personhood.
