Easy Turkish Podcast'in yeni bölümüne hepiniz hoş geldiniz. Ben Emin. Bugünkü bölümümüzde Ömer'le beraberiz. Nasılsın Ömer? Ömer: [0:24] Teşekkür ederim Emin. İyiyim. Sen nasılsın? Emin: [0:27] Ben de iyiyim. Nasıl gidiyor ramazan? Ömer: [0:29] Çok şükür bir haftayı devirdik. %23'lere tekabül ediyor. Yaptığım hesaplamalar neticesinde bu sonuca ulaştım. Emin: [0:36] Evet. Ömer: [0:37] Güzel gidiyor. Geçen hafta konuşmuştuk. Kış ramazanı, yaz ramazanından sonra çıtır geliyor. Sadece son saatlerde bir böyle acıkma falan hissediyorum. Güzel. Ben memnunum ramazandan. Sen? Ben şu an memnunum. Yıllar süren yaz ramazanından sonra şu an hâlimden memnunum. Emin: [1:37] Evet evet. Ömer: [1:38] Sahura kadar çöplemeler falan başkaydı yani. Emin: [1:40] Aynen öyle. Evet. Support Easy Turkish and get interactive transcripts and live vocabulary for all our episodes: easyturkish.fm/membership

Mikrofonda Aydın Işık var. YAZ is a vocal and electroacoustic composition built from a field recording of an Aït Haddidou market in Rabat, captured in 1961. What struck me immediately was the presence of a young boy's voice, cutting through the density of the market: a call. Not directed at anyone in particular, yet lingering. That voice became the starting point of the piece, an echo moving through time and memory.Research into Aït Haddidou and Amazigh musical culture revealed a relationship to voice that is inseparable from daily life. Singing is not performance. It belongs to work, ritual, gathering, and transmission. In Amazigh group singing, voices move in unison. A song exists because a community carries it, through repetition and collective presence, as an acknowledgement of life itself. The piece opens with my voice recorded as a soft lullaby, an intimate humming inspired by the singing women carry inside the home. I chose a wordless melody to allow the voice to transcend language, time, and place, reflecting how memory often survives beyond words - the peculiar way a melody, or even a scent, can instantly transport us through time.As the piece unfolds, the voice thickens and multiplies, gradually transforming into a collective chant. Intimacy expands into togetherness. Repetition becomes more insistent. The singing grows intense, almost like a march — not as a gesture of power, but as an act of persistence and the strength that lies within a community. As a nomadic people, I like to imagine these songs carrying a sense of home and belonging. The market recording functions as a living archive. Through spatialisation, spectral processing, and subtle glitch-like distortions, voices and noises stretch, fragment, and drift. The market shifts between reality and dream, familiar and haunted. My practice combines voice, field recording, and spatial sonic exploration. Coming from a multicultural background, partly Arabic, this piece resonates deeply with my ongoing exploration of memory, identity, exile, and the way we carry the voices of our ancestors across time. The title YAZ refers to the Amazigh symbol ⵣ, a sign of freedom, dignity, and resistance. The piece is conceived as a call across ages. A reminder that voices do not vanish. When we listen, they return.Market sounds, Morocco reimagined by Ilhem.———Part of the project A Century of Sounds, reimagining 100 sounds covering 100 years from the collections of the Pitt Rivers Museum at the University of Oxford. Can designing for human error become the strongest cybersecurity strategy in an AI-accelerated world? In this episode, I sit down with Yaz Bekkar, Principal Consulting Architect for Barracuda XDR and a member of the company's Office of the CTO, to explore why the speed introduced by AI is changing the risk equation for every organization. As automation allows teams to move faster, it also means small mistakes can scale at machine speed. Yaz argues that resilience in 2026 is no longer about trying to prevent every incident. It is about anticipating failure, containing the blast radius, and recovering quickly without bringing the business to a standstill. Our conversation challenges one of the most persistent narratives in security, the idea that people are the weakest link. Yaz explains why safeguarding the workforce begins with reshaping the environment they operate in. When the secure option is also the easiest and fastest path, risky shortcuts begin to disappear. From secure defaults and least-privilege access to paved-road workflows for administrators, he shares practical examples of how organizations can reduce complexity, limit exposure, and support better decisions under pressure. We also tackle the limits of annual compliance training and the cultural shift required to build real cyber resilience. Yaz makes the case for continuous, bite-sized practice embedded into everyday work, from three-minute phishing simulations that teach without blame to short, hands-on misconfiguration drills for technical teams. The result is stronger habits, faster response times, and a security posture designed for real human behavior rather than ideal conditions. If AI is accelerating both innovation and risk, how do leaders move from a prevention-only mindset to resilient operations that protect business continuity when controls fail? And what would change in your organization if every system was designed with the assumption that someone, somewhere, will eventually make a mistake?

https://m.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?sid=tindogpodcast&_pgn=1&isRefine=true&_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l49496 This title was released in January 2026. It will be exclusively available to buy from the Big Finish website until 31 March 2026, and on general sale after this date. The Doctor and Yaz have been sent a list of coordinates, each one pointing to a location in time and space where people are disappearing - but why? The trail leads to a war-torn world, where conscripted humans battle the terrifying Banshee. Can the Doctor end this conflict before she loses her best friend? Please note: the collector's edition CDs have now sold out. Recorded on: 25 and 27 June 2025 Recorded at: Fitzrovia Post Writer Rochana Patel said: "The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures really are incredibly special. This TARDIS team still feel fresh from their TV adventures, which means we can do modern and relevant storytelling, in a way that wouldn't sit quite right in other ranges. "As such, I threw absolutely everything I could into Ride or Die, to make it feel like a hard-edged, contemporary, science-fiction drama. There's no cosiness or nostalgia here, and as a result, this one certainly isn't your average episode! Plus, in the background, there's an even bigger story arc starting to unfold..." Mandip Gill said: "Yaz meets an old friend, Megan, and there's history there. Megan had a crush on Yaz which Yaz wasn't sure about. So, when Megan brings it up, it makes her think about what it is that she feels about the Doctor. She's stopped in her tracks by somebody from back home reminding her that this might not go on forever, and that she needs to stay in touch with reality." Jodie Whittaker added: "I thought this was an amazing story. It feels very timely. The discussion of profits of war and violence is a very important theme at the moment. What's fascinating about the Doctor is that they never give up hope, they're always there to guide humans to make the right choices. And I really love that about the Thirteenth Doctor, particularly how she always has so much energy even when she's hitting herself against a wall continually!" What happens when your family stages an intervention because they've been avoiding you 10 days every month?I'm sharing the story of a patient who had a complete breakdown at Christmas dinner. She snapped at her husband, her kids, her mom, her in-laws—everyone. A few hours later, her family told her: "We love you, but for 10 days every month, we actively avoid you."She came to me asking: Am I bipolar? Am I manic? What's happening to me?This is PMDD premenstrual dysphoric disorder. And when it collides with perimenopause, it becomes a perfect storm. This is not just PMS. This isn't you being dramatic. It's a real biochemical thing happening in your brain an abnormal response to normal hormonal changes.I discuss the science of PMDD: how GABA receptors respond to progesterone metabolites, why some brains are change sensitive, and why the hormonal volatility of perimenopause (erratic estrogen, declining progesterone, unpredictable timing) makes everything exponentially worse. I explain treatment options from luteal-phase SSRIs to Yaz to Duavee for refractory cases, and why tracking your symptoms for at least two cycles is critical for diagnosis.Highlights:Why "I feel like I'm watching myself burn down my life and can't stop it" is the hallmark of PMDD.The DRSP tracking tool: why you need 2 cycles to diagnose PMDD properly. Why Vitex (chasteberry) might help mood swings and breast pain. What Duavee is and why it works for women who can't tolerate progestins. Why Dr. Tammy Rowan calls PMDD a progesterone sensitivity issue.Ulipristal: the emergency contraception drug being studied for PMDD.If you've ever felt like your brain gets hijacked on a schedule, if you've felt completely out of control, this episode is for you. Track your symptoms. Find a clinician who takes cyclic mood symptoms seriously. You don't have to live like this. Please share this episode with someone you know might be experiencing this or a clinician you think would benefit from it.Resource:DRSPDr. Tami RowenGet in Touch with Me:WebsiteInstagramYoutubeSubstackMentioned in this episode:GSM CollectiveThe GSM Collective - Chicago Boutique concierge gynecology practice Led by Dr. Sameena Rahman, specialist in sexual medicine & menopause Unrushed appointments in a beautiful, private setting Personalized care for women's health, hormones, and pelvic floor issues Multiple membership options available Ready for personalized women's healthcare? Here is Shane Delancey the Director of the Christmas Tradition at the Strand Theatre Commercial: THE STRAND STORY 1: Canton Lions Club donates $6K to 'Shop with a Cop' program The Canton Lions Club stepped up in a big way Tuesday, donating $6,000 to the Canton Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” program—a holiday tradition that brings smiles to kids and families in need across Cherokee County. Lions Club members Shawn Tolan and Marty Taylor handed over the check, and they weren’t alone in their generosity. The Laurel Canyon Optimist Club chipped in another $1,500 to help make this year’s event even bigger. “This program is everything,” said Canton Police Chief Marty Ferrell. “It’s about connection, joy, and showing kids we’re here for them. We couldn’t do it without these amazing partners.” STORY 2: New taco fusion restaurant opens in Woodstock’s Towne Lake There’s a new taco spot in Towne Lake, and it’s not your typical taco joint. Towne Lake Taco Co., owned by Rick and Julie VanBuren, is throwing a grand opening party this Thursday through Saturday, complete with deals, giveaways, and a special-edition taco. “We’re not a Mexican restaurant,” Rick said. “We’re a fusion spot—tacos are just our canvas to play with flavors.” And play they do. This weekend’s exclusive? A steak au poivre taco with sirloin, greens, and a peppercorn sauce spiked with Grandaddy Mimm’s sorghum rum. Deals include free tacos, $45 taco flights, and $8 sangrias. Oh, and brownie chimichangas for dessert. STORY 3: Road closure planned for Cherokee Avenue in Nelson Heads up, Nelson residents—storm drainpipe work is coming to Cherokee Avenue, and it’s going to mean a road closure. From Dec. 15 to Dec. 19, the stretch between 61 and 98 Cherokee Avenue will be shut down. Here’s the deal: if you’re at 61, you’ll need to head west to get in or out. If you’re at 98, it’s east for you. Signs will go up at Dogwood Pass and Hillside Lane to mark the closure. Be careful around the crews and equipment, and please follow the work zone signs—it’s for everyone’s safety. Questions? Call 678-493-6077. Thanks for your patience! Break: Ingles Markets 7 STORY 4: Chattahoochee Gold grabs top three finish at senior state championships The Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club made waves at the Georgia Senior State Championships in Athens last weekend, with both the boys and girls teams landing top-three finishes. The boys snagged second place with 587.5 points, just behind Swim Atlanta (622) and ahead of Dynamo (505). Asher Cooper was the standout, racking up 90 points with wins in the 200 backstroke (1:47.77) and 200 butterfly (1:51.11). Parker Hebert and Jack Lynch also delivered big, with Hebert taking second in the 500 freestyle (4:33.09). On the girls’ side, they finished third overall, led by Ashlyn Loftin’s 55 points and Ariana Lutz’s two first-place swims, including the 500 freestyle (4:58.75). BRAVES: The Atlanta Braves just inked a deal with free-agent outfielder Mike Yastrzemski—yep, Carl Yastrzemski’s grandson—for two years and $23 million, with an option for a third. Yaz (the younger) has had an up-and-down career. He burst onto the scene in 2019, hitting .272 with 21 homers as a rookie, and even snagged some MVP votes in 2020 when he batted .297 during the shortened season. But since 2021? He hasn’t quite found that same spark, hitting .233 with 17 homers last year between the Giants and Royals. At 35, he’s likely looking at left field or a fourth-outfielder role—Acuña’s got right field locked down. I’m Keith Ippolito and this is your tribune ledger sports minute. STORY 5: Cherokee Chick-fil-As donate $155K for local charities The Operators and Marketing Directors of Cherokee County’s six Chick-fil-A and Truett’s Grill locations handed over a jaw-dropping $155,000 check to the Cherokee County Educational Foundation (CCEF)—all thanks to the 12th Annual Cherokee County Chick-fil-A 5K. This year’s event? Bigger than ever, with over 2,700 runners and walkers showing up. It wasn’t just a race—it was a full-on celebration. Think Chick-fil-A biscuits, a petting zoo, balloon animals, face painting, live dance performances, and giveaways galore. Oh, and nonprofits got free booth space to connect with the community. The best part? That $155,000 will support CCEF and Cherokee County Special Olympics. And now here is Leah McGrath from Ingles Markets on milk Commercial: We’ll have closing comments after this. It's still thought of as the World Series to which all other World Series' are compared. The Boston Red Sox vs the Cincinnati Reds. A classic 7-game series that had as much drama, controversy, rain, Hall of Famers, and unforgettable moments as baseball fans could ever hope for. The Big Red Machine was a juggernaut in '75 led by Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan, Pete Rose, Tony Perez and their Hall of Fame skipper Sparky Anderson. Yet, the upstart Red Sox were matching them at every turn with Rookie of the Year/MVP Fred Lynn, Yaz, El Tiante and Carlton Fisk playing inspiring baseball. The only thing that could stop either of these teams was Mother Nature. Rain interrupted the series on mud;tiple occasions, but once they got on the field… some of the most thrilling baseball ever played was on full display. None more thrilling than the 12th inning home run by Carlton Fisk that ended a captivating Game 6 and sent the series to a 7th game. The shot of Fisk waving the ball fair as it hugged the left field line and then bounced off the foul pole is a moment that has stood the test of time for half a century and will be forever remembered by baseball fans as long as they still play this game. The starting pitcher for Game 7 for Boston was Bill Lee… the Spaceman. One of the gams true characters and at this time, one of the games best left-handed starters. The winner of 17 games in 1975, Lee had thrown 8 beautiful innings in Game 2 only to leave in the 9th when the Reds rallied for a 3-2 win. Now, in Game 7, he once again tossed 6 innings and came out with the lead in the 7th only to see the Reds rally again. Two wonderful starts for Lee, two no decisions… and a lifetime of what if's… 50 years later, the Spaceman is still as outrageous and entertaining as he was back in Boston in the mid 70's. He tells us how he couldn't stand Don Zimmer as a manager and how wearing a Rolling Stones shirt cost him and the Red Sox the 1972 AL East Division. He recalls how as a teenager he had a job as locksmith and locked some of the most famous people in the world out of their own houses. He tells us how he almost died on the pitching mound pitching for the Savannah Bananas and how he's lucky to still be alive. And mostly, he just tells us all sorts of things you can't believe happened… but they did. One of the most revered and loved Red Sox pitchers in their storied history… Bill The Spaceman Lee on the Past Our Prime podcast… Listen and download wherever you get your podcasts. On today's episode, co-hosts Yasmin Gagne and Josh Christensen discuss the latest news in business and innovation, including renewed trade tensions with China, Instagram's new approach to protecting minors from harmful content, and Spotify's new partnership with Netflix. Next, AI video technology has come a long way since 2023's famous fever dream of a video featuring Will Smith eating spaghetti. Tech giants OpenAI and Meta have recently released powerful AI video generators—Sora 2 and Vibes, respectively. Both generators make it possible for users to create hyperrealistic videos, with Sora 2 allowing content to be generated that features “real life” characters. But these videos now add to the heaps of AI-generated image slop that dominates social media feeds, raising concerns about our ability to discern what is fact and fiction. And in our post-truth media ecosystem, only “vibes” seem to matter. Yaz and Josh talk to Fast Company contributing writer Chris Stokel-Walker about the societal and ethical gray areas of this development. Finally, workwear brand M.M. LaFleur makes versatile, office-appropriate, affordable clothing for professionals. The company had raised money from traditional VC firms prior to the pandemic, but following the pandemic and the start of DTC winter, the company struggled. Yaz speaks with Katie Tidwell, the company's SVP of sales and operations, about how the company raised $3 million from its biggest fans and individual female investors and how it became profitable.
