A trip to 1950s Earth to visit Disneyland? Ranking by stories that got our hopes up, Delta and the Bannermen is near top of the charts. But this is actually a bait-and-switch we don't mind, because the detour to rural Wales sets off a nostalgic romp filled with period music, motorcycle chases, and hostile bees that are most definitely not disappearing. And boy, if you ever wondered why do fools fall in love, this one is going to be an absolute head-scratcher. Best not to think too hard. Oh, and be sure to blink in key places so any genocides or mass murders don't bother you too much. Give your own rating for Delta and the Bannermen on Spotify! Another story, another attempt for Mel to go on holiday and this time it's in Wales which is good timing as we recorded this episode together in Cardiff. The slightly over the top tone of the season continues with green babies, holiday camps and meat stroking...

Joe & James; 'Here's to the Future...Love is the answer!' We're blissfully in love with this story at this point - where bees and rock and roll combine to bring down a genocidal war fleet. Let's have space buns and tea on Mars.

Joe & James; 'Actually, I think I may have gone a little too far...' We're basking in the Welsh sunshine (and countryside), taking in the beauty spots, riding cycles, hanging out with charming (and wise) locals and gathering a ragtag collection of heroes to defeat the villainous Bannermen!

For the first time this season, #GoKingsGo have hit a bit of snag and that means it's time for the Bannermen to shine.
It's a holiday special! Not in the Christmas sense, or indeed in any meaningful way at all beyond that these are two stories where the Doctor and co attempt to take a holiday and fail. Under the microscope this week are Eleventh Doctor double threat The Girl Who Waited and the Seventh Doctor's encounter with Delta and the Bannermen. Questions? Thoughts? Burton escapes with Mel as Gavrok chases after Delta and Billy. Meanwhile Weismuller and Hawk chase after a satelite, while Ray and the Doctor chase after Billy and Delta. The Toll Master chases after the Naravinos before the head to 1950's Earth as they are also being chased by Gavrok. Finally The Doctor chases after Gavrok, Burton, Bily, Vinny, and Murray before the chase finally ends. Yup its one of those stories.
I've been teasing that there is one serial this season that “figures it out” in regard to the Seventh Doctor era of Doctor Who. Delta and the Bannermen is that one that discovers and relishes in the hallmarks of what would come in the following 2 seasons. Tony and I discuss a lot of the […]

Stay cool, cats. Both these Doctor Who episodes take plane in the 1950s, you dig? In fact, the Doctor visits two seminal moments in world history taking place during the 50s: Queen Elizabeth's coronation, and that one time an old Welsh beekeeper prevented an interplanetary genocide.
Guess who's back? NHL Hockey! The Bannermen! Not the #LAKings! But it's not all bad for our boys... not bad at all. #GoKingsGo
It's an episode full of reminiscence, gratitude and love as The Bannermen receive visits from the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. We made it. This is 50. #GoKingsGo #LAKings
They are who we thought they were... except they're a little more exciting. The Bannermen recap the first 7 games of the new #LAKings season and discuss the few ups and many downs of what's been going on thus far. We also do a shallow dive into the rest of the NHL as October brings its usual early casualties and premature champions. It's 47!
It's Season Preview time! The Bannermen lay out their predictions for 2019-20 across the entire NHL.
