Two girls from the Midwest who’re just trying to blend into the world we live in through comedy and shame.
Dudes, we're bringing back the special guests! In this special episode the dudes are blessed to be joined by their childhood friend, Wilson! You may remember him from episode #19, but he's back and sassier (and hairier) then ever. The dudes welcome Wilson's sass by doing another dive into the list of funny discussion topics. Although he doesn't believe a hotdog is a sandwich, we deep dive into some of the most ridiculous questions.
The dudes are back for the fifth installment of Nightmares and Nightcaps! This episode the dudes have decided to give your liver a break and paired the nightmare with a healthy liquid IV or just a bottle of water; whatever you have handy. This month, Atlee tells the story of the murder of Kevin Paul Riley Sr. Respect for the dead and to the family whose lives were dramatically impacted by the events that occurred.
The dudes are in love but not everyone can have a good Valentine's Day. In this episode the dudes tell other writer's anti-Valentine's Day stories; some embarrassing some morbid some sad, but all enjoyable. The dude's also tell their own awful V-Day stories and how Atlee thinks she owns a cursed teddy bear. Happy 2021 dudes! We finally made it to the new year, so let's start it off with some crazy stories that have already come out of it. In this episode Taylor shares a few stories leaving Atlee with second hand embarrassment. The dudes love their sponsor but have some technical difficulties in this episode so please bear with us, but at least Taylor finally has a new microphone!
Holy shit dudes...we made it a whole year! A year ago (technically Jan 20th, 2020 is the birthdate but oh well) Atlee and Matty started this podcast. Now the Dude I Have a Story for You podcast has turned into so much more with the help of Taylor and you listeners. The dudes wanna thank everyone for being supportive through it all and hope you can all continue to support and share the podcast with your friends. In this special episode we do a rewind of all of the fun that has been had on this podcast and relive some gut bursting moments. The dudes love all of you rats...enjoy!
This shit be heavy and listener's discretion is highly advised. In this installment of N&N it is Atlee's turn to tell Taylor a nightmare, and the dude didn't hold back one bit. Atlee tells the story of the horrendous Covina Massacre. The dudes highly advise you to also have your spiked hot chocolate nightcap ready before the episode begins (maybe have a few drank before listening to be able to choke down the story). Also, the dudes have a creepy and unannounced special guest make an appearance. Make sure you are following the podcast Instagram @dudeihaveastory4you to get any photos described in the episodes.
HO HO No way are the dudes supporting Santa this year. In this episode the dudes tell their true motives of celebrating Krampus for their 2020 holiday season. Taylor breaks down a few horror/thriller Christmas movies, and Atlee tells the back story to Krampus. The dudes are just not feeling so holly jolly this year but they are feeling older, you betcha. YOU BETTER WATCH OUT CAUSE YOU'VE GOT A CREEPY DUDE AND ANTHROPOMORPHIC CREATURE WATCHING YOU ALL YEAR LONG. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
We all get a little depressed during the winter months especially since we are still riding the COVID train, so why not sit back and listen to Atlee and Taylor's advice to help battle your seasonal depression. We're all about making ourselves feel better in this rat family, don't be ashamed to do whatever it is that makes you happy. You deserve it. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
In the second installment of the spin-off series, Taylor helps Atlee realize she has a new phobia; Submechanophobia. If you didn't think you had this fear, you might after listening to this episode or even after watching some YouTube videos on it. The nightcap paired with this episode is one Atlee named "The creature from the black lagoon" which contains Kraken Spiced Rum and Coke. Delicious and dangerous. Send in your ideas for a nightmare or a nightcap you would like the dudes to try by DM-ing the podcast Instagram page. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
In this week's episode the dudes have a nice laid back time and answer some of the stupidest questions they've ever read. With the help of the internet, Atlee found a list of discussion starters which lead to very honest answers. Make sure to follow our Instagram @dudeihaveastory4you to take the poll: is a hotdog a sandwich? Look, we all need a break from the real world once in a while; isn't that why you're here? Sit back and enjoy some feel good stories from Taylor and Atlee in this episode. Atlee tells the story of Dear David, the story of a creepy child, and Taylor tells the story of La Pascualita, the story of a creepy mannequin. On top of it all, Atlee gets a strange phone call and plays the voicemail for y'all to hear. Welcome to our spooky season episode, dudes! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
After a long hiatus, WE'RE BACK! And yes: WE! Joining on as new full-time cohost is already a regular voice on this podcast, Taylor! We're back and still as messy as ever and ready to fill your ears with nonsense and maybe too much talk about poop (sorry about that there, bud). Thank you for sticking around or maybe even listening for the first time. We are here to just talk, tell stories, and try to avoid the real world falling apart around us. Interested? We will be here every two weeks telling a new story. Dudes....we've got stories for you. We love you and can't wait to get this shit show on the road again!!
I'll be back..... thank you listeners and thank you Anchor for everything, Take care of yourselves, be safe, and I'll see you in spooky season.
To my spooky story lovers, this one's for you. Wanting to do another paranormal story, I tell the legend of Trollwood Park. I even went on location (without breaking any virus restrictions so do not worry) for your listening pleasure. This was different for me to do, but I will be doing more investigations as episodes in the near spooky future. I also feel I picked up a few EVPs so *WARNING* HEADPHONES NEEDED FOR FULL AFFECT. Let me know if you heard anything too or if I'm just insane (which we already know I am). --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Happy Father's Day to all the daddies out there! This week I am playing a very interesting game with some very special guests...don't wanna give away too much in the description as I will explain it in the episode. Make sure to give your pa/pops/dad/old man a hug every time you can. We love you dad...this one's for you. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
In this episode, Atlee teaches her long time friend from back home about the wondrous world of the WWE. She knows too much about wrestling, so why share the wealth with the uninformed? Trying to get my hand into the true crime stories pot, I tell the case of Thomas Bearson. This case is still active and ongoing. We are not here to slander the dead or blame anyone, but to tell the tragic story of the death of a young man. This case cannot be swept under the rug, we need to find justice for the Bearson family. You can go to tombearson.org to donate to the Thomas Bearson foundation and to get more information. Sources used in this episode include St. Cloud Times and Valley News Live online forums. Check out the podcast "Who Killed Tommy?" to get personal interviews with friends and family of Thomas'. DUDES....HE CAME BACK! THE BRITISH GUY CAME BACK!! Atlee's friend from the UK, Izzie, makes a come back for an ultimate breakdown of America's ugliest accents (according to Gawker). This was a tournament held by the forum GAWKER in 2014, and Atlee just so happened to stumble upon it 6 years later. You will be able to find the picture on our Instagram page and on Twitter. Do you agree with our final choice? Here is a list of links to the videos used in our episode: https://youtu.be/RbK4cL3QSc0
Things are a little different this week from how hectic Atlee's schedule has been (please bear with her) so we have a very special episode...the blooper reel from Atlee and her sisters trying to sing the Mother's Day song. It was a mess but also too funny to not share. They know they're not perfect, but their mom loves them anyways
In this week's episode Atlee shares her knowledge in flowers to help you create a lovely Mother's Day present! You know your ma wouldn't want you spending money on her anyways; hand-made gifts are the best gifts. Let's get creative! Make sure to share your creations on the new Twitter page @DudeIHaveaStory or DM them on Instagram @dudeihaveastory4you. Episode dedicated to Atlee's mom and grandma. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
In this weeks episode we learn that Atlee's calling does not lie in the world of beauty and cosmetics. Joined by her little sister, Cameo, they call themselves out so no one else can! From makeup to hair coloring to hair removal we all have some bad experiences. Just know we're all hairy beasts and doing our best. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Alright, alright, alright....this is a very special episode for a very special day. For those who celebrate, don't forget to buy the essentials for this Highliday. Atlee just wanted to do a chill episode, diving into “top five best” lists of necessities. Lists are not set in stone...they are forever changing. So grab a snack, your bic, take a deep breath in and just sit back and relax, man. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Starting lineup for this week's episode is your host, Atlee and KHL superstar, Rihards Marenis! Rihards uses his best English to step by step cook a delicious meal via the Anchor app, and teaches a few Latvian words along the way (sorry mom, bushklabava is a word you made up). Take some time to cook along with us or just to get to know a little about his hockey life. Big thanks to our foreign friends that deal with the time difference and spend a few hours making Atlee laugh. If you would like to cook this delicious meal, you need just a few ingredients and to follow a few easy steps. Ingredients for this meal: Filet Mignon Cucumber Tomato Lemon Garlic Thyme Rosemary Sour Cream Salt Pepper Olive Oil Directions for this meal: Preheat oven to 320 degrees. Next, take 3-4 sprigs of thyme and pluck the leaves, giving you about a tablespoon. Next, grate the peel of the lemon until you have the same amount as thyme. Then, lube your piece of meat (lolz) with a small amount of olive oil. After lubrication, rub the thyme and lemon zest into the meat until completely covered. Sear the meat on the stove top; 15 seconds each side. After searing, place meat onto a cooking sheet with 2 sprigs of rosemary and a couple cloves of garlic surrounding the meat. Cook for 12-15 minutes (varies for temperature that you like your meat cooked). While meat is cooking, cut up tomato and cucumber to desired eating size. Chop up a few cloves of garlic and combine with tomato/cucumber. Next, add desired amount of sour cream to the veggies, and salt/pepper to taste. Once the meat is ready, slice and plate and then you are ready to enjoy! *Chef's kiss* --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
How can we not talk about this show? The Tiger King has quickly taken over social media, memes, the 'Top Selling Albums' charts and now it's taking over this podcast. Atlee needed to talk about this show; she binged it one night and needed the release. Bear with her while she dives too deep into these people's drama. Pretty sure most of you can relate if you have also watched it. Make sure to follow the podcast Instagram @dudeihaveastory4you for posts about each episode! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
*HEADS UP* Definitely will need headphones to fully enjoy this episode, kids. Atlee breaks down spirits/ghosts and her belief in them, while also sharing some stories. The headphones will come in handy if you enjoy listening to EVPs. For all non-believers, you better skip this episode. For all you spooky bitches like Atlee, this one will speak to your spooky heart. I ain't a-scurred of no ghost (edited cause we don't have the rights). --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Howdy pard'ner, and welcome back to the wild wild shitshow. Things are a little different in this episode as we are missing one half of our hosts, but Atlee tried to keep it funny anyways, I reckon. With the aid of her Imgurian Pen-Pal, Izzie, Atlee does terrible impressions of some famous movie/tv shows. Definitely practicing social distancing since Izzie is recording all the way from across the Atlantic Ocean. Also, we get an impression of Tweety Bird from Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. Gotta listen to see if I'm telling the truth or not... --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Life is so crazy right now, so let's unwind with a fun game! The game was originally a drunken rant turned into something super serious that needed to be written down. We break down a certain number of best friends from old TV shows that we watched as kids and ranked them from worst best friend to the BEST best friend. Everyone needs a best friend! So grab a buddy and a drink cause this is a long one. If you wanna fight us on our number one best friend, come with cold hard facts and maybe you will change our minds. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Hey you guys! We're back and we're ready to snack and think back to the good old days of MSN and the YouTube craze. In this episode Matty and Atlee discuss their complete obsession with YouTube and the videos/YouTubers that "made them". All the way from SuperMac18 to the still very relevant Shane Dawson, we throw down some names that might not have crossed your mind or feed in a long time! We apologize beforehand for the fact that this might make you want to relive some hidden gems...just make sure you have another tab to switch to in case your mom comes into the room. For this special episode Matty and Atlee decided to make small vlogs just so they can see what it is like to be a Youtuber for a week. We did it guys, we already brought out our first special guest! But she's more than special (although she shares a name with many, many, many people). So, put your rat claws together and welcome to our shitshow: TAYLOR, Atlee's long-time friend from back home in Iowa. We all have similiar stories about growing up, and tried to retell them to each other in this episode. Atlee asks a deep question, which leaves some in tears. We think most of you can relate to us and our small towns and hopefully we will leave you thinking about that one hobo that was always riding his bike around. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Roses are red, violets are blue, we know nothing about love, how about you?? Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! We are here to be the worst cupids and ruin the day of love...Love=Evol! That is a Christopher Titus reference and we don't have the rights...We hope you had an amazing day of love (barf) but also, we don't wanna hear about it. Unless someone wants to love us, we will forever be salty bitches. We always tell you to bear with us, but this one is for sure cursed. Although we promised an episode full of Taylor content, we lied and maybe this is why we are forever single. If you can anticipate episode 7, we will come through with our promises. Can you smell what we're cooking, brother?? In this royal episode, Atlee gives you the highlights of WWE's latest Royal Rumble (big spoiler warning if you plan on watching it). We are not in any way correlated with the WWE, but this is one sport Atlee actually enjoys and can geek about. Matty is a little fan too....emphasis on the little. We also get into the behind the scenes lives of reality TV and our unhealthy obsession with it. Thank you to our first ever sponsor, Anchor! Without Anchor, this podcast would not even be a real thing. PS. Kelly Kelly if you are listening, you're Atlee's new BFF, call her every 5 minutes.
*DISCLAIMER* In this episode we do talk about consuming alcohol and a big trigger warning to you all with emetophobia! Matty finally learns her lesson and breaks things off with Jameson, but not without a fight first. Atlee also learns some lessons about herself after quitting one of her two jobs and finally gets to sleep in. She has now volunteered as tribute to drink all the Jameson so Matty doesn't have to...true friendship. Kids, make sure you have your parent's approval before listening to this episode. In this episode, we share our "vast" knowledge of tattoos and piercings with you. We are not licensed artists ourselves, but we both have good and bad experiences with body modification. We think we can give advice, but maybe we needed to hear this advice when we were younger! Hello everyone! Welcome to episode one! We are glad for those of you who are supporting and listening to us! We are very new at this but are both ready to push ourselves artistically. In this episode, we are just gonna give you a look at why we finally decided to do this podcast thing. Be gentle, we know the audio is shit, but if you can push past that we promise to update and improve our sound quality for our upcoming episodes. There will be more changes coming that will only improve our podcasting abilities, so stand by.
