Friendship with God

The salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ is for all people who will call upon His name and it is His desire to bring them all into one fold and to worship the Lord together.

The Prophet Isaiah said that the Lord Jesus Christ would have no great outward appearance that they would desire Him to be their Messiah, but it was His inward appearance through His love, mercy and grace that drew all men to Him.

The great announcement to the world happened when the angel announced that the Savior of the world was born in a manger who was God with us.

The purpose of the Lord Jesus Christ was to save His people from their sins and to bring them to heaven with Him to the delight of the Father.

The Lord Jesus Christ has given all of us an opportunity to receive His gift of salvation and the promise of eternal life and those who have received the gift are to tell others about this gift so no one will say that, “I missed my opportunity.”

When God the Father sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to this earth, the mission was to ransom mankind from the bondage of sin that the devil had on them by His sacrificial sin offering on the cross. And we who are the children of God have the mission of telling as many people as possible about the mission of Jesus Christ.

The reason that God allows people to face such great problems in their lives is so they will turn to the Lord Jesus Christ who can help them and rescue them from their great problems.

Why do people try to fight their battles in their own strength when He tells them your secret weapon is found in Me who will be your strength.

The Jews who became believers in the Messiah are free from keeping the traditions of the Jewish people and are those who He calls the little flock.

People invest their lives in many things today, but God put His investment in those who were perishing in their sins by sending His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to die for their sins and ransom them to Himself.

One of the things that people desire to have is a special relationship with someone and the one who they could have that relationship with is the Lord Jesus Christ.

There are three steps to finding the Lord Jesus Christ, they are to ask, seek and knock. Ask who he is, seek Him through His word and knock so he will let you in.

We see people today who are all about the material aspects and the exterior looks while having no inner focus because they have no desire for the things of God.

We are all in a search for truth and the absolute truth can be found in the word of God and His word of truth.

While the world is all about self-seeking and about themselves, the Lord Jesus Christ is all about selflessness and others and that is how we as believers should be as well.

So many people are living their lives and are not aware of their consequences after they die and that there is a simple way to fix that through a friendship with God.

There is a time when the Jewish people will experience a great change in their thinking and come to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as their Messiah and be saved from their sins.

The Lord Jesus Christ is calling many into the field of this world to go and reach the people with the Gospel to save them from their sins and eternity in hell, yet only a few have responded to His call and fulfilled their purpose in life.

After reading the Bible, many will conclude that it is a book of do's and don'ts and it is a kill joy to their fun, when in reality God is only protecting us from dangerous consequences of our bad decisions.

This modern culture has no interest in the things of God until they have a need for something and realize that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only solution to fulfil that need.

When a person realizes their need for the Lord Jesus Christ and they finally comes to have that friendship with God, there is a great release of guilt and shame that they have been carrying around all their life.

It is good to be in church fellowship and worship as we serve the Lord, however the Lord Jesus Christ really desires to have time alone with us.

This world is on a quest for riches while all the time they are missing out on the hidden treasure that is available in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The people who are living for themselves believe they have found true satisfaction in this world, however, the one true source of life is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Many people today believe that they can receive salvation by way of mindless traditions through religiosity and good works but they fail to understand that a friendship with God only comes through repentance and forgiveness of their sins by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

When we share the message of the Lord Jesus Christ we should reflect His message of love and mercy in order to draw mankind to the cross so they will receive His gift of eternal life.

There are many people today who say they believe in God, however, they have a dullness of heart and lack interest in having a real friendship with Him through the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is a day in the future when God will sing and rejoice over His people who will call upon His name and repent of their sins.

Those people who have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ have been delivered from the wrath to come and have the assurance of eternal life.

God the father had such a special love for the whole world that He sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to be the sin sacrifice so they could be with Him in heaven.

The Lord Jesus Christ is a door to the sheep fold and only those who know His voice will enter through that door because they are His sheep.

Religion tells us that being good and following all the traditions is the solution to peace with God, but the Bible tells us that believing in the Lord Jesus Christ is God's solution to peace with Him.

In today's society the world refuses to take correction, but for the believer, the correction of the Lord Jesus Christ is for our benefit.

Everyone is chasing something today in order to get ahead and be the leader, but it is when we slow down and realize that He leads us will we be content with life.

In today's world it seems everyone is in the pursuit for success, wealth, power and love, but they are still not satisfied, while they should be in the pursuit for the things of God because only He can satisfy.

Many people know of the Lord Jesus Christ but do not have a friendship with Him, while to others He is well known because they do have a friendship with God.

Although the Jewish people reject Jesus Christ and His offer of salvation, yet one day all of Israel will be saved.

God chose to proclaim His truth of salvation to the Gentiles because the Jews were not hearing God.

Like sheep, we tend to listen to many different voices, however, only the true Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ is the one voice we need to hear.

There are many people who believe there are many ways to get to heaven, however, the correct way is only by going through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Although it may seem as if our witness for the Lord Jesus Christ was a waste of time, we may not discover the impact we had in one's life until we get to heaven.

Many people are living life and looking for their source of fulfillment in this world, but they refuse to look to the source of true fulfillment in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Just as the Lord Jesus Christ restored sight to the blind man, He has the power to restore life to mankind through His death and resurrection to all who will call on His name for salvation.

The Lord Jesus Christ came into this world to be the light of the world so people would be freed from the power of darkness and walk in His marvelous light.

mankind is desiring a life of satisfaction but without The Lord Jesus Christ they are without life and will never find true satisfaction.

Man is continually filling up their cup of iniquity and unless they repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for His mercy, they will all face the wrath of God on judgment day.

The desire for more knowledge through educational pursuits is  important, however, what they don't know is that they are missing the most important pursuit and that is the pursuit for a friendship with God.

So many people are thinking they are good enough to make it into heaven but are going to be disqualified because they refused to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only way to heaven.

People are living in this world with a need for something. They are living with a need for spiritual things and the need for a relationship with Jesus Christ.

It will be a wonderful day when the Jewish people cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ and say, that's our redeemer!                                           

Jesus tells us that we have not because we ask not and for the Jewish people it is going to be a terrible thing when they ask why they have not the hope of eternal life, and the Lord Jesus Christ will say to them because you have not called on Me for the forgiveness of your sins.
