Sometimes it takes time so that we can find our essence within us, so long lost and almost totally forgotten. It took a while for me to find the right songs for my new set but here it is, raw and with the right message in every song, the right beat for what I'm feeling and who I am now, RESILIENT. When we take a step towards the light we see how difficult it is to be stuck in situations that catch us and slowly pull us away from what we have always seen in the mirror but today we no longer recognize ourselves, it takes a while to see the TRUTH. And the truth is that we have the power to grow using the pain/situations we avoided but which is unavoidable, the paths we didn't want to face but they are standing and laughing of you as you are weak. 2020 was difficult for all of us, at different scales and weights. A year to reflect who we are, who matters, what we like and what we must change within us. This podcast is full of songs that I love, that marked my year and that I really wanted to share with those who like my sound. HISTORY Falar de Bruno Ramos e não sorrir é impossível. Humilde, gentil e talentoso, suas músicas fazem parte de toda a minha vida de festa. A primeira música que me recordo escutar e me perguntar que música era aquela foi dele: Fashionista. Hora ou outra um outro hino se instalava em meu coração como Beautiful People Say ou One More Time. Eu sempre fui fã antes mesmo de conhece-lo. E todas as vezes que pude ver ele tocar, conversar com ele, rir das besteiras ou simplesmente falar sobre música, fiz o que sempre achei certo: dizer o quanto ele é incrível e o quanto sua música e seu talento significava para mim. Que todas as batidas perdidas que ele é maestro em colocar em certos pontos das músicas me faziam pirar. E ele sempre tão humilde, as vezes parecia que eu estava falando de outra pessoa para ele se não fosse o sorriso de feliz que ele soltava. É amigo pode ser que fisicamente você não esteja mais aqui (e dói pensar nisso) mas o seu trabalho duro e o seu talento único reverbera pelo universo para sempre. Se eu já tocava suas músicas e morria de orgulho disso, agora mais ainda. Sei que eu e seus muitos amigos jamais deixaram de tocar seus pianos, seus vocais pop que tanto amas (Britney, Rihanna, Gaga, Sia) e suas versões únicas de nossos talentos brasileiros. SEMPRE serão tocados por que são sem sombra de dúvidas únicos e diretamente ligados a sua pessoa e as nossas vidas. Fiz uma seleção das músicas que me marcaram durante minha vida para que quem não teve o prazer de te conhecer descubra um pouco do que é a energia que desprende das suas musicas e do talento que você possuiu. Para quem conheceu talvez seja uma viagem no tempo como foi para mim, momentos que congelam e que não voltam, mas nos dar prazer em relembrar. Foi difícil escolher entre tanta música que tenho mas fiz o que meu coração mandou e sei que é assim que você sempre viveu sua vida: com o coração a pulsar em 130bpm. Obrigado Bruno! The first song I remember listening to and asking myself what song was that was his: Fashionista. At one time or another another hymn was installed in my heart as Beautiful People Say or One More Time. I was always a fan before I even met him. And every time I could see him play, talk to him, laugh at the jokes or just talk about music, I did what I always thought was right: I said how amazing he is and how much his music and talent meant to me. And he was always so humble, sometimes it felt like I was talking about someone else to him if it weren't for the happy smile he gave. You may not be here physically anymore (and it hurts to think about it) but your hard work and your unique talent reverberate throughout the universe. If I already played your songs and I was proud of it, now I will play them even more. I know that I and your many friends will never stop to play your pianos, your pop vocals that you love so much (Britney, Rihanna, Gaga, Sia) and your unique versions of our Brazilian talents and beats. They will ALWAYS be touched because they are undoubtedly unique and directly linked to your person and our lives. I made a selection of the songs that marked me during my life so that those who did not have the pleasure of meeting you could discover a little of what is the energy that comes from your music and the talent that you possessed. For those who knew, maybe it is a time travel as it was for me, moments that freeze and that do not come back, but give us pleasure to remember. Meu amor por música é infinito. Música é minha arma, é minha forma de se expressar, de falar e de ser ouvido, de ter grandes prazeres e noites incríveis. It can take one or two months as I need to love them all, the beats needs. I just can't download music and put them together, deliver something I can't believe it... cause everything needs to make sense and to tell (at least to me) a story about who I am and what I'm living during the creation process. Lyrics is also a big thing for me cause music is a way of expression, a way of connecting, a way of surviving and to be happier every day.
