Convidada: Ana Maria Gonçalves, autora de "Um defeito de cor". 2025 marcou um capítulo histórico para a cultura brasileira: a escritora Ana Maria Gonçalves chegou à Academia Brasileira de Letras. Foi a primeira vez em 128 anos que uma mulher negra assumiu uma cadeira na ABL. Nesta terça-feira, 30 de dezembro, O Assunto reprisa a conversa de Natuza Nery com Ana Maria Gonçalves, gravada dias antes da posse da escritora na ABL. A autora do livro que se tornou um marco de nossa cultura contemporânea discute o lugar da mulher negra na literatura brasileira. Ana Maria conta como foi a construção da protagonista Kehinde, mulher africana que sobrevive à travessia do Atlântico e à violência da escravidão no Brasil. Kehinde foi inspirada na vida de Luísa Mahin, mãe do poeta e advogado Luiz Gama – figura-chave do abolicionismo brasileiro. Na conversa, Ana Maria discorre sobre as diferenças entre o Brasil de 2006 – ano em que seu principal romance foi publicado – e o país de hoje. "Um defeito de cor" venceu o Prêmio Casa de las Américas, em 2007, um dos mais importantes da América Latina. Em 2024, o livro foi tema do samba-enredo da escola de samba Portela. Ao longo do episódio, trechos de “Um defeito de cor” são lidos pela jornalista Maju Coutinho e pelo ator Lázaro Ramos – ele dá voz a estrofes do poema “Minha Mãe”, de Luiz Gama, e de cartas escritas pelo autor.

A investigação mostrou como o PCC infiltra agentes em fintechs e fundos de investimento para esconder o dinheiro sujo do crime organizado. Segundo a receita federal, R$ 52 bilhões foram movimentados em quatro anos. Foi a partir dessa operação que novas camadas do crime organizado começaram a ser desvendadas, revelando uma rede ainda mais profunda e sofisticada. Apresentador da Globo, Tralli relata o que ouviu de investigadores e conta como a investigação contra o crime organizado chegou ao coração financeiro do país. Antes, Natuza conversa com Bruno Tavares, repórter da Globo que primeiro revelou a megaoperação contra o PCC. Ele explica como essa investigação nasceu e responde por que o setor de combustíveis é tão atrativo para a prática de crimes.

Ele nasceu e cresceu em São Conrado, entre a praia e a montanha. Favorecido por essa geografia, aproveitava ao máximo seus dias entre o futebol de areia, o futevôlei, o surfe e as trilhas da Floresta da Tijuca. Desenvolveu desde cedo uma ligação natural com o esporte e com a vida ao ar livre. Jogou futebol nos times de base do Botafogo, intercalando com a corrida. Ainda adolescente, ingressou no atletismo pela Universidade Gama Filho e, aos 18 anos, já conciliava os treinos com o serviço militar. Seguiu o caminho natural, passando por todas as categorias do atletismo. Quando deixou o Exército, especializou-se nas distâncias de 5 e 10 mil metros, onde chegou ao seu limite. Foi aconselhado pelo seu então técnico a voltar a se dedicar aos estudos e a pensar em uma alternativa de carreira. Ele acatou o conselho e enquanto concluía sua formação, migrou para as corridas de rua. Formado, encontrou um novo horizonte quando foi incentivado pelo amigo e lenda do triathlon brasileiro, Alexandre Ribeiro, a participar do El Cruce de Los Andes em 2011. Como havia previsto o amigo, aquela experiência o transformou e iniciou ali uma trajetória que determinaria o rumo da sua carreira. A partir de então, acumulou vitórias emblemáticas em provas de 50, 80 e 100 quilômetros no Brasil e na América do Sul e foi duas vezes vice-campeão no El Cruce. Em 2019, foi também vice-campeão na Tahoe 100milhas e, no ano seguinte, venceu a One Hundred Brasil. Depois de uma década, decidiu se reinventar novamente e encerrou sua carreira como ultramaratonista para se dedicar, como amador, às maratonas e a compartilhar conhecimento e experiência com seus alunos. Seguiu com a vida de adolescente, aprendeu a lutar jiu-jítsu e, aos 16 anos, mudou-se para o Rio de Janeiro para concluir os estudos. Foi um período de mudanças e pouca atividade física. Ao entrar na faculdade, decidiu que era hora de voltar a se movimentar e passou a frequentar uma academia, onde descobriu o spinning. Em seguida, vieram as aulas de corrida, até que um professor a convidou para experimentar o triathlon. Precisaria nadar, algo que só havia experimentado na infância devido à bronquite severa. Iniciou os treinos em 2005 e desde a sua estreia, a paixão pela modalidade só aumentou. Trabalhou no mercado corporativo, casou-se e teve dois filhos enquanto levava um estilo de vida de triatleta. Dez anos após sua estreia, realizou o sonho de cruzar a linha de chegada de um Ironman 70.3. Em 2016, a violência no Rio a levou a uma decisão radical: mudou-se com a família para a Europa, onde o marido faria um MBA e onde proporcionariam uma vida mais tranquila aos filhos. Morando na Suíça, tiveram uma outra menina, e o marido passou a trabalhar na WADA (Agência Mundial Antidopagem). Ela se aproximou da psicoterapia, da educação positiva e do problema da dopagem no esporte. O esporte ocupava agora o centro da vida de toda família. Triathlon com os filhos, trainningcamps, amigos do Comitê Olímpico Internacional e os valores olímpicos, aquilo tudo a tocava profundamente. Depois da pandemia, já de volta ao Brasil, encontrou um cenário esportivo transformado: performances duvidosas, inversão de valores no triathlon, muita exposição de alguns atletas e pouca transparência. Ela própria foi prejudicada por atletas que seriam depois desclassificados. Sentiu revolta e propósito. Com o apoio da ABCD (Agência Brasileira de Controle de Dopagem), deu início ao movimento que chamou de Quero Ser Testado e, algum tempo depois, se transformou no Eu Jogo Limpo, que segue firme em sua missão: educar, proteger e transformar a cultura esportiva brasileira, difundindo valores simples e profundos: respeito, justiça, ética, responsabilidade e moral. Fazer o certo mesmo quando ninguém está olhando.
