A general goes to war with the army that was given to him by his mafia sponsor, not the one he wants. Or rather, he doesn't even do that- as famously one of the machines we're talking about today spent a long time on the bench. The Shiden sits in a weird place among IBO grunts, feeling torn between the rest of the world's design, and other 00s and beyond Gundam art. But it's still cool. The Calamity War of IBO lore must have been kinda dumb, right? Like, ok. I have to give this another sentence so the preview doesn't spoil the show. But there were railgun archer lines, samurai, wild (???) mobile armors attacking any and everyone, one hundred and EIGHT different Gundams running around with weapons like pliers and box cutters, tons of pilots were physically plugged into their mobile suits, and a quarter of humanity died. I really hope they never do a spinoff about it, because it seems really stupid, frankly. Beans Time 1:03:28 You can find a video version of this podcast for free on Scanline Media's Patreon! Ippei Gyoubu, you've done it again... is what I would say, if I'd remembered this thing EXISTED before we rolled it. Look, I'm not saying it's a bad design. It's alright.
