The first round of this year's playoffs have been nothing but entertaining, certain teams have shown strides others have showed us how not to progress with good players. As I discuss each series I got to say that there has entertainment in each one, my favourites in particular have been the Grizzlies Vs Lakers, Heat Vs Bucks & Kings Vs Warriors. JJ & Kendrick always are at odds with different Basketball opinions and now this time it has gotten JJ very angry on Kendrick's take on Nikola Jokic and the MVP voters. Denver Nuggets & the Sacramento Kings are 2 underdog teams that we have not seen lead the Western Conference and can we a Playoffs faceoff between the 2. Kyrie Irving & Kevin Durant have been traded from the Brooklyn Nets which now leaves them in a position to rebuild and focus on the future as we saw the Nets have issues with injuries, players being held back from playing etc. Kyrie ahs gone to the Dallas Mavericks & KD to the Suns so the western conference remains the stronger side with these moves. Kevin Durant has not been happy with the Brooklyn Nets this season and especially the playoff run that had a bad ending has now foreshadowed their future. KD wants out and now is prepared to go to a title contending team in the Eastern or Western Conference team which will tarnish his legacy if he does. The NBA has officially put in the mandate for players to be vaccinated before playing this season, Kyrie on the other hand wants to make a personal which has affected his season with the current team he is on in terms of Salary/Roster. As we get closer to the playoffs the play in tournament is now where the 7th to 11th seeded team in both conferences will battle for a playoff spot, but is it worth it despite the current stats of each team. The New York Knicks are the in the top 4 seedings this year as it has been a long while since their first winning season for a few years and Julius Randle is definitely a big part of this franchise doing better. Lamelo Ball was having a promising season until last week he Fractured his wrist and is now out for the season. Andre Drummond has been picked up by the Lakers, it makes him LeBron and AD a big 3 powerhouse for the Lakers to go back to back. All Star Weekend was lack luster not because of the events per say, but the lack of crowd atmosphere due to what is going on right now. The events despite current situations were still good to see except for the dunk contest.
