​Tyler Plantz was fired on Sunday from his position as head football coach at Providence Catholic High School. ​Plantz---who said he refused to resign---was told by the school president there were complaints about Plantz by a few disgruntled colleagues and players' parents. Now, more than 2,000 Providence Catholic alumni have signed an online petition to have Coach Plantz reinstated. Plantz led the Celtics to the Class 5A state championship game last year, and to a record of four wins and no losses this season before being fired.
