It Matters

Although school shootings have occurred in years past, the shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado in 1999 was where the conversation first came to fruition. The history of school shootings can be traced back many years and since then the inception of organizations like March For Our Lives have attempted to combat these acts of gun violence, but often to no avail because although some action has been taken, the conversation is addressing school security/increased police presence, arming teachers, etc. instead of the crux of the issue, guns. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/it-matters9/support
