Brice aka @bricebowl has been on staff with YWAM Kona for the last 3 years. You would never expect this lady to have been through what she has been through even tho she's now leading young adults (ie: Katherine) on wonderful missions trips to preach the gospel around the world! Brice shares about her struggle with depression and how it started from her childhood and lead into her teens... Freedom for her didn't come overnight and she really had to fight for it, but the Lord really met Brice over the years and now she has been totally changed from the inside out! From being addicted to cutting and fantasizing about her death, all the way to rolling in laughter at how good God is. Hear Brice also share a bit on her sexuality aaaannd also about how God completely healed the scars on her body from the days when she was depressed. What the?! so good.

Katherine is joined by Brittney again and they recap what the last 3 months have looked like during their Discipleship Training School with YWAM Kona! Hear about the 12 different weeks of training and what each week entailed as well as what some of their personal experiences were like. Topics include: Father heart, discipleship, racial reconciliation, and missions. Katherine and Brittney are going on outreach in the USA for a few months and now we get to wait and hear about what that will be like!

Katherine interviews a few people from YWAM who were recently filled with the Holy Spirit and they share about the tangible ways they were touched by the Lord... whether they were laughing, crying, or falling on the floor?!?!?!? wild! Some people had grown up in church yet they had never experienced the Holy Spirit in this way, but now they say they their life has changed because of this encounter. Katherine also briefly shares on being filled with the Holy Spirit and what that looks like from Acts chapter 2. 26 year old Chelsea joins the pod today and shares about how her depression and many other illnesses lead her being addicted to drugs and living in the streets of Seattle for 5 years. Eventually she found a bible in a dumpster and started to believe the words written within the book. Now it's been 5 years and her life is completeeetelly different and she loves to dance with the God that saved her. So beautiful.

Katherine is testing the waters with a new n short JGT segment where she goes around YWAM asking people how they are encountering Jesus during their school days. This episode is specifically related to pure heart week where students had to dig into some past memories in order to receive healing in their hearts and mindsets. Heads up tho, this week was referred to as a spiritual enema, and Katherine hops on her lil whirly keyboard and introduces things in a unique way so maybe just don't be eating snacks while hearing about what an enema is, haha. Devin, 23, from Seattle Washington was always going against the grain of what society expected him to do and felt like the world's systems were causing people to be fooled and living in fear. His emo music/skater lifestyle, mixed with marijuana and mushrooms lead him to being born again into God's fam just this last year during the pandemic, even though he didn't grow up with any Christian influence at all. Devin shares about how the truths that took years for him to uncover from tripping on shrooms (ie: love, sexual purity, & forgiveness) were unpacked in just mere verses from the bible as he started reading it. Now he is living in this new lifestyle and has found the freedom he has been searching for his whole life. The episode ends with Devin addressing his friends and family as he wants them to know that he's still himself, yet he's more Devin than he has ever been.

Connor gave his life to the Lord in grade 10 and we get to hear about how he has found a home in Jesus now instead of those other outward things that he was drawn to because of the hurt in his heart. Tim also shares the story behind how he felt the Lord pointing him to use TikTok as a platform to see kids give their lives to the Lord and overall this is a beautiful and faith-filled episode!! Hear about how Brandon grew up as an evolution believing atheist who then encountered Jesus and began a journey into wholeness. Brandon shares the various ways that the Lord has helped him to understand his value, identity, and purpose (hehe VIP!!) and shares about his construction business and how he hirers marginalized people and extends to them the love that he has received from God. So good. The episode ends with Brandon diving deep into his heart and sharing some intimate things about his first marriage that failed but how he still chose to love even in the midst of intense hardship. So many golden nuggets on this episode!!!

Katherine is joined by longtime friend Paige who basically takes over the podcast today xD Paige shares all about her struggles and how she grew up in a house that was living in addiction which lead to her being hyper-sexualized and turning to excessive amounts of alcohol during her teenage years.

Katherine takes us to her hometown where we are joined by a high school peer, Elenee.
