Proclaiming a Message of Good News and Hope to our generation!
Jesus declared that we could have mountain moving faith! He even said that all things were possible if we could only believe! Could it be that the limit of what God can and will do is only in our minds?
From around the world, and in ages past, philosophers and thinkers have yearned for something they hoped was once real — that could be real again.
Did you get that? We can be transformed into the image of Christ, who is the express image of the invisible God!
When Abraham set out with his wife to find the home God had planned for him, his faith was expressed. But after his son came into the world, his faith would be tested.
Over the last 2,000 years the church of Jesus Christ has seen periods of explosive growth, as well as times when it appeared that all was lost.
Those who have come to cherish the free and unrestrained relationship with Jesus have something that no one can take from them! Not only that, but they have something within them that they can freely share with others.
If we can keep in mind that God has not forgotten His original intention for humanity, if we also keep in mind that He cannot fail, then it might become easier to see how His plan continued to move forward in Genesis.
Is our great Almighty God, Savior and King, who created all things, able to accomplish His plan to fill the earth with bearers of His image?
"Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?”
It has always been difficult for people to see how the Kingdom of God could already be here.
Faith in Christ leads to our regeneration, or the new birth, which then enables us to see the kingdom of God.
Are you ready for an adventure?
The challenge to Kingdom Courage Some of us have come to the realization that we are actually helpless in many ways. When it comes to certain weaknesses, (we all have weaknesses by the way), our fight to overcome them has failed time and time again. The good news is however, that God knows this, and […]

First the Kingdom part 36 The Pearl of Great Price What is most important to you? What do you value the most? All to often we look at our behavior without considering what motivates us. First the Kingdom, episode 34: Praying the Lord’s Prayer Back in 1963, the day in our local Junior High school began either in the main auditorium or home room with the pledge of allegiance and the Lord’s Prayer. First the Kingdom part 31, “Freedom” Today’s topic has long been a favorite of mine. I grew up in the sixties, when many young people were seeking freedom from the constraints of society. The civil rights movement, and the Vietnam war was largely in the news and pressing on our minds. The pressure to get […]

Have you watched the news lately? How do you feel afterwards? It is true that bad news cannot be avoided, but at the same time feelings of depression should be resisted. Depression can be paralyzing. Discouragement can hinder creativity and progress in many ways. In the Bible, God does not promise us a trouble-free life, […]
First the Kingdom part 24, The increase of the Kingdom In my early years I remember hearing that eventually the numbers of believing Christians would be reduced world wide. Very few people would be saved like in the days of Noah when only 8 people survived. That upset me. I hated to hear it, hoping […]
First the Kingdom Part 23: Kingdom Power There was a man sent from God whose name is John. In fact his mission was determined before he was born. He was filled with the Holy Spirit while still in his mothers womb. Instead of following in his fathers path as a priest of the levitical order, […]

First the Kingdom Part 22, Only One Gospel? The word “gospel” has come to mean many things today. Anyone who has a new idea or a supposedly better way of doing things is often seen as presenting his or her gospel. In the time that the New Testament of the Bible was written, there was […]

First the Kingdom Part 20 – Kingdom People If you haven’t already noticed, Jesus was first focused upon the will of His Heavenly Father, and secondly upon people who are the object of His Father’s love. First the Kingdom part 16, The Paradigm Shift The title of this podcast is a fancy word phrase used in science that is definitely not found in the bible. I find that sometimes biblical words become so worn out over time that a modern term can actually refresh their true meaning. Repentance, for example is […]
