Grief can flatten you—or forge you. On Charlie Kirk's first heavenly birthday, we sit with the weight of loss and the power of witness as Erica Kirk accepts the Presidential Medal of Freedom and models a fearless, faith-first path forward. That moment reframed our day and our decisions, pulling a simple prayer—“Thy will be done”—from ink on skin into the center of our work, our words, and our homes. We open up about the tension between honoring a legacy and avoiding the appearance of profit, and how hundreds of conversations at the Fryeburg Fair shifted our view. The result is a community-shaped tribute: two made-in-the-USA designs—Freedom and Fearless—that pair a bold front with a half cross on the back, “God, Family, Country,” and “Live like Charlie: faith over fear,” finished with a gold signature. It's more than merch; it's a commitment to carry a message with integrity and intention.Along the way, we dig into what surrender really means—active alignment, not passive waiting—plus why America's leadership vacuum starts at the kitchen table and stretches to our biggest stages. We talk courage you can practice, “peace through strength” as moral clarity with backbone, and how Erica's voice is shaping a new standard for public leadership: honest, compassionate, unafraid. If you've been looking for a way to turn pain into purpose and belief into action, this one's for you. Listen, share with a friend who needs courage today, and subscribe so you don't miss what's next. I. The Good Will of God II. Praying for Obedience III. Praying for Submission
There's something powerful about what happened in the garden of Gethsemane. It seems to be late in the evening, and Jesus knew what was coming—suffering, betrayal and the cross. He walked a little farther into the garden, fell on His face, and prayed, “O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” In that moment, we see Jesus fully engaged in His humanity. He felt the weight and the pain of what was ahead. He wasn't rushing toward the cross. He was honest. He didn't want to suffer. He asked the Father if there was another way. We're not just a church. We're a Family. Our Vision is clear, simple, and unique. Our vision is Jesus in you. Our vision is for the people of God to have a faith that holds them. The kind of faith that vanquishes doubt, verifies identity, and voraciously contends for inner peace. A faith that removes the past, clarifies the present, and breathes life into the future. Our vision is the Kingdom of God built within the people of this obscure, yet mighty generation. A kingdom so great that its purpose destroys the common lack of self worth. A kingdom that sharpens the eyes, tenses the muscles, and readies itself for the battle against darkness. A Kingdom that brings purpose and healing to those who have failed more than succeeded, who are sinners more than saints, and who have known more pain than pleasure. Our vision is to challenge the weak and unproductive church of our day. To step beyond those who are religiously immature and search out those who for their love for Christ cannot be offended. Our hope is to raise warriors instead of those who think God only exists to keep bad things from happening. To raise those who know that following Christ means suffering loss yet gaining all things. Our vision is clear, simple, and unique…. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
I. The Meaning II. The Resistance III. The Obedience
The sermon explores the profound significance of submitting to God's will, particularly through the example of Jesus' prayer in Gethsemane. It emphasizes that true faith involves renouncing personal desires and embracing God's plan, even when it appears painful or incomprehensible, recognizing that His will is inherently good and ultimately beneficial. The message encourages listeners to actively study and obey God's commands, understanding that their station and calling in life, whether joyful or challenging, should be met with willing submission and trust in His divine purpose, mirroring the unwavering obedience of the angels in heaven.

In the third message of our series called The Lord's Prayer, Pastor Mel focuses on the petition: your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. This part of the prayer is made up of two requests, the first being that God's kingdom should advance on earth. Mel explains what it means for Jesus to be King of Kings and why this indicates God's sovereignty over Satan, despite Satan being called the ruler of this world. The second part of the prayer is a request that God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Jesus gives us an archetypal example of submission to God's will in the Garden of Gethsemane. Paul explains the importance of God renewing our minds so that we might learn His will for our lives - which is good and pleasing and perfect.
At the heart of contemplation is an attitude of total surrender to the Divine. This is easier said than done, of course. In our minds, we may sincerely believe that we wish to do God's will in all things. But the moment the bitter cup is served, we often find ourselves protesting and howling at life's unfairness. Christ's prayer in Gethsemane is an archetype of perfect “willingness”: the willingness to experience exactly what life gives us to experience in each moment, trusting that it is for our good. And it's not only Christianity where the virtue of “willingness” figures prominently. Listen as Thomas takes a comparative look at the Buddhist tradition's take on this “divine abode.” Upcoming, in-person offerings with Thomas: 7-day meditation retreat (September 30th - October 7th) 9-month deep dive in the contemplative life (still accepting applications)

Finding Alignment with Your Divine Assignment: A Journey of Faith and BusinessWelcome to another episode of Roots to Riches, where natural healing meets unstoppable success. I'm your host, Justin Benton, and today I want to share a personal journey that intertwines faith, business, and the pursuit of alignment with one's true calling. In this episode, I reflect on my path from helping people with high-ticket offers to finding a deeper connection with my faith and purpose. I discuss the challenges and lessons learned from transitioning from physical to virtual business models, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. This journey led me to join Russell Brunson's Mastermind, where I discovered the power of online sales and marketing.A pivotal moment in my journey was encountering Daryl Eaves, the executive producer of "The Chosen," which deepened my relationship with Jesus and reshaped my understanding of my mission. Despite my initial resistance to reading, I found new ways to connect with spiritual teachings through audio formats, which resonated with my learning style.I also share the ups and downs of launching various businesses, particularly in the CBD industry, and the struggle to find financial stability while staying true to my mission of healing a billion people by 2025. Through persistent prayer and faith, I eventually returned to my original calling of helping people convert high-ticket offers, leading to the successful launch of Convert High Ticket. This episode is a testament to the importance of staying true to the whispers from God, avoiding distractions, and persevering through hardships. I emphasize the value of surrendering to a higher power and the blessings that come from aligning with one's true purpose.ASK THIS EPISODE ANYTHING TIMESTAMPS:00:00:00 - Introduction and Initial Challenges00:00:41 - Welcome to Roots to Riches00:01:03 - Setting the Scene in Ventura, California00:01:25 - Alignment with Assignment00:01:58 - Upcoming Event with Myron Golden00:02:22 - The Our Father Prayer00:02:54 - Transition to Virtual World and Masterminds00:03:27 - Influence of The Chosen and Daryl Eaves00:04:01 - Personal Connection with Jesus00:04:54 - Joining Russell Brunson's Mastermind00:05:26 - Partnership with Russell Brunson00:05:58 - Joining Inner Circle Mastermind00:06:42 - Learning from Masterminds and The Chosen00:07:04 - Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done00:08:19 - Challenges in the CBD Market00:09:14 - Men's Ministry and Personal Faith Journey00:10:21 - Deepening Relationship with Jesus00:11:06 - Understanding Thy Kingdom Come00:12:09 - Cannabis and Jesus' Mission00:13:05 - Launching New Companies and Products00:14:10 - Discovering High-Ticket Offers00:15:26 - Realizing Expertise in Phone Sales00:16:36 - Launching Convert High Ticket00:17:57 - Challenges with Initial Launch00:19:05 - Reflections on Misalignment00:20:08 - Shiny Object Syndrome00:21:00 - Continuing the CBD Mission00:22:05 - Economic Shifts and Personal Struggles00:23:10 - Reconnecting with Eileen Wilder00:24:03 - Helping Harrison with Sales00:25:09 - Full Circle with Convert High Ticket00:26:08 - Positive Signs and New Clients00:27:04 - Lessons Learned from the Journey00:28:00 - Finding God and Jesus00:29:05 - Financial Struggles and Perseverance00:30:01 - Abundance and Impact00:31:09 - Final Reflections and Encouragement00:32:04 - Humility and Surrender00:33:02 - Encouragement to Listeners00:33:45 - Contact Information and Call to Action Thank you for tuning in to the Miracle Plant Podcast. Sermon by Dr. Robert Lewis 3/9/2003 In this message, Dr. Robert Lewis discusses the concept of an earthly kingdom and its relevance in the Lord's Prayer. The early church believed in the establishment of a world dominated by righteousness, peace, and prosperity. However, this optimism was challenged by historical events such as world wars and the rise of communism. The sermon highlights the original plan of God to establish an earthly kingdom through the obedience of Adam and Eve and emphasizes the biblical promises of a future kingdom on Earth. Revelation chapter 20 is the primary focus, describing the millennial reign of Christ. The features of the millennial kingdom include the Bema Judgment, Satan's binding, earth's restoration, population dynamics, Christ's governance, and a final rebellion. Rev 20:1-10

Today on The Daily Nugget, Mike reads a section from his book, The Greatest Treasure, exploring the challenge of doing God's will, just as Jesus exemplified when He surrendered to the Father's plan. As disciples, we are called to remain faithful in a world filled with temptation, relying on God's Spirit to guide and empower us. Through prayer, obedience, and the power of the Gospel, we can resist evil, walk in God's strength, and lead others into His light.
from Matthew 26:36-46 Over these Sundays of Lent we are going to consider some of the final significant moments and interactions that we get a window into in the life of Jesus as He is making His journey to the cross. Trusting God through a storm means having faith in God's power to guide you through difficult times. It can involve focusing on God's sovereignty, love and praying. Trusting God doesn't mean trusting him to stop the storm, but to strengthen you as you walk through it. Storms can be an opportunity to strengthen your faith. You can tell God exactly how you feel and release your frustrations. Trust God through all aspects of your life no matter what.

We are entering into a new teaching series based on the Lord's Prayer for this season of Lent. We will be focusing on these familiar words that most of us have recited by heart for many years. We are going to take this season to see how this sacred text unifies us to one another as well as generations before and after us. We hope through this teaching that we can all recite the words with a fresh inspiration and meaning. This week, pastor Karla reveals how aligning ourselves to God's will is the journey of discipleship, and our prayer life affects God's Kingdom coming. Praying for God's Will to be done!
We need every bit of help we can get to learn to pray, “Thy will be done,” because we're going right into the teeth of our culture. The essence of American culture is the belief that the more free we are to decide for ourselves, the happier we'll be. But Jesus Christ says every time you pray to God, you need to say to him, “Thy will be done.” That goes right against probably everything you've been taught in our culture. To understand this phrase, we need to see that when Jesus himself prayed it, he was in the midst of terrible agony. Let's reflect on 1) the magnitude of that agony, 2) the immediacy of that agony, and then 3) how that helps us understand what it means to pray, “Thy will be done” in a life-transforming way. This sermon was preached by Dr. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on October 19, 2014. Series: The Prayer of Prayers. Scripture: Matthew 26:36-46. When we pray for God's Kingdom to come and God's will to be done, we are asking for the final coming of the reign of God and for his plan of salvation to come to fruition. This petition is most powerfully expressed in the Mass. Fr. Mike reminds us that anticipating Christ's return should inflame our hearts to continue our mission here on earth and to carry out God's will with perseverance.
