Host and Emerald City Native Jordan Long goes over some exciting details from Oregon Football's singing day. We talk about new OC Joe Moorhead, get some good quotes from Coach Cristobal, highlight new signee Jaysin Jones, and talk a little about the new QBs on the squad. We then talk about Justin Herbert's Draft profile, which will be the beginning of what I am sure will be a lot of draft talk coming in future episodes. We do a little preview about the defensive struggles that Oregon might have tonight against Oregon State Beavers in the 353rd Civil War Game. What it do wrasslin' fans, and yes I use that spelling of the word "wrasslin'" very intentionally for that is what we are getting on this show. First WCCW show since I started watching without a Von Erich brother, which leads me to believe I was wrong about this entire company being a vehicle to get them over. What we did get was an amazing main event between Ric Flair and Terry Gordy, and yes by the way Ric Flair was pretty good. Add up all the good things everyone has ever said about him ever at any time, and he is still underrated, he is still greater than that. Anyways there was also a shocking unannounced unexpected appearance from a certain founding member of Degeneration X and all-time great. But these WCCW episodes are thus far outstanding, they are batting 1.000 in my book. On this episode you will see Rip Oliver, Shawn Michaels, Billy Jack Haynes, Ric Flair, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy, and we say a few words about Rocky Johnson. I know y'all want timestamps, so here's ya timestamps: 0-7:38: Hellos and podcast navel-gazing and RIP Rocky Johnson 7:38-fin: World Class Championship Wrestling, 19 January 1985 I will endeavor to make the timestamps more specific. Enjoy it y'all --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Things are heating up between Kevin Von Erich and Gentleman Chris Adams, who compete on this show in a lumberjack match. In a match that was probably plucked directly out of the World Renowned Historian's imagination, the Midnight Express challenge the Fantastics for the American Tag Team Titles. I don't want to alarm anybody, but this match was very good. Iceman King Parsons takes on Rip Oliver in a bout that was better than the WRH expected. In any event, here before they were stars (apologies, Scott Baio), or maybe while they were stars, you get to see the Midnights, the Fantastics, Rip Oliver, Kevin Von Erich and Chris Adams the trainer of both Scott Hall and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
