Let's dip our toes into Texas once again! In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys review a lesser example of what World Class Championship Wrestling can provide, with matches featuring Captain Frank Dusek and Wild Bill Irwin. Gary Hart ushers in a feud between the Great Kabuki and Kerry Von Erich, while Kevin Von Erich gets a squash match against Pseudo Castro. If back acne can be appropriate, why aren't time limit draws?
Let's take a trip to Texas! In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys dip their toes into the waters of World Class Championship Wrestling. Matches featuring the Great Kabuki, the Von Erich Brothers and others entertain, while Tom “Boogaloo” Shaft does not. Announcer Gene Goodson is serviceable, but wait, is that… oh no! Jose Lothario is back on our screens! Can be found on Peacock streaming or at The Rasslin Channel on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fN7sfUxHF1U

Tim and Rich flashback to Texas in 1984. Tragedy had struck the Von Erich family in February when David Von Erich was stricken with an intestinal illness and passed away while on tour in Japan. Fritz, the patriarch and promoter of World Class Championship Wrestling assembled a super card in his honor with the main event being Ric Flair vs Kerry Von Erich for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The card is sprinkled with other familiar faces, like Kamala the Ugandan Giant, The Fabulous Freebirds, Butch Reed, and the rest of the Von Erich clan, including Fritz, who returned to the ring to defend the family's honor. This was an emotionally charged show with great action and one of the loudest and passionate stadium crowds we've ever seen on this show. Thanks for listening! The story behind the new Iron Claw movie starring Zac Effron and Jeremy Allen White. Was the Von Erich wrestling family actually cursed? I understand why some people think so. Five out of six of wrestling star Fritz Von Erich's sons would die prematurely and tragically, many of them dying shortly after the family became the most famous family in all of professional wrestling. Today, World Class Championship Wrestling is seen as a very successful regional territory from the late 80's. However, its impact and reach stretched across the globe. In fact, it reached all the way across the Atlantic to a young boy living in England. That boy would grow up to write and direct one of the most important movies regarding the impact WCCW and the Von Erich family had on the lives of so many wrestling fans today. It was such an honor to grab some time with write and director of The Iron Claw, Sean Durkin.
