Some hauntings stay behind when you move. Others follow. This is the terrifying true story of a haunting that began in Alameda, California—and followed one family across cities, across years, and across lives. What started with whispers ended with a full-blown war against something darker than a ghost. It began on the very first night in their Alameda apartment. As children lay in bed, they heard music drifting from the closet and rollerblade sounds circling overhead. Then came the ants—cascading from walls, the bathtub, and even the closet itself. On May 1st, when their father was away and their mother worked late, the children were left alone. That night, red eyes burned in the dark. A voice screamed. They dove under covers, terrified. The haunting didn't stay in Alameda. In Concord, crying came from the attic. In Oakley, footsteps pounded beneath the crawlspace, glasses slid across counters, and boots stomped on carpet where no wood floors existed. By Brentwood, the activity turned violent—beds shaking, electronics exploding, windows rattling. Desperate, he tried to bless his room. The house responded with chaos: lights flickered, wind howled, objects flew, until everything fell silent. For a moment, he thought he was free. But freedom was an illusion. On March 20th, 2007—his birthday—the haunting returned, and by December, an exorcism was the only option. As prayers filled the house, lights burst, glass shattered, doors slammed, and the entity screamed. Finally, silence returned. For now. Because some hauntings don't end—they only pause. And when they return, it isn't a whisper. It's war. #HauntedHouse #TrueGhostStory #RealHaunting #ParanormalEncounters #Poltergeist #OuijaBoard #GhostStories #CreepyTrueStories #Supernatural #ParanormalActivity #Exorcism #ScaryStory Love real ghost stories? Some hauntings don't stay locked to a single house, a single town, or even a single country. Some attach themselves to a person—and follow them like a shadow stitched to their very life. This is the terrifying true story of “Shadow,” a faceless entity that appeared when a girl was only six years old and never stopped watching her. It began in Florenceville, New Brunswick. A small, quiet Canadian village. One day, while playing upstairs, she heard her name called. Thinking it was her father, she ran to the railing and looked down. Standing in the entryway was not her father. It wasn't even a man. It was a faceless figure—pure blackness shaped like a human, staring back at her. She screamed, ran, and hid. But the memory never faded. And strangely, he didn't always bring fear. Sometimes, when he showed himself fully, she felt calm. Safe. But when her boyfriend stayed over, that calm curdled into jealousy. The shadow became angry, territorial—even attacking her boyfriend in the form of a void-like cat that leapt for his face before vanishing mid-air. What was he? A spirit? A demon? A guardian? Or something else entirely? Whatever he was, he followed her across homes, across borders, across years. Intelligent. Emotional. Obsessive. And though she finally told him to leave—she knows silence doesn't mean absence. It means waiting. Because if he came once, he can always come again. #ShadowMan #TrueGhostStory #RealHaunting #ParanormalEncounters #GhostStories #CreepyTrueStories #FacelessEntity #HauntedLife #Supernatural #ParanormalActivity #ScaryStory #TrueParanormal Love real ghost stories? Called Pennsylvania's “Amityville Horror,” the Smurl family's nightmare of demonic possession is the subject of both the current motion picture, Conjuring: Last Rites, and this book. Venturing far beyond the West Pittston coal region, author Maxim W. Furek's narrative explores the dark crawlspaces of High Hopes, the Hindsdale House, the damned Welles House, and good and evil, as seen through the eyes of history's foremost exorcists and psychics, such as the mysterious Fr. Alphonsus Trabold O.F.M and Alexander Tanous. There was something of the supernatural channeling through Furek that inspired him to write this book. The 92-year-old West Pittston Smurl duplex was a half-hour drive from his home, and, during their 15-city book tour promoting The Haunted, the author befriended Ed and Lorraine Warren. And sadly, Furek met Annabelle handler Dan Rivera, the day before he died during the 2025 “Devils on the Run” Tour in Gettysburg.Furek: “It wasn't a coincidence. It was destiny. I believe that psychic energies were being channeled through me to allow this thing to take shape and manifest. I only know that it flowed and had energy and a life of its own and that I was placed at the right place at the right time.”BioMaxim W. Furek is an avid student of the paranormal. His eclectic background includes aspects of psychology, recovery from addictions, and rock journalism. He has a master's degree in communications from Bloomsburg University, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Aquinas College. He has been called “The John Keel of the 21st century,” due, in part, to his diverse background and varied interests. The author has been featured on countless American, Canadian, and European podcasts including George Noory's Coast to Coast, Exploring the Bizarre with the legendary Timothy Green Beckley (Mr. UFO) and Tim R. Swartz (Commander X), and Midnight in the Desert with Heather Wade. He is a contributor to Fate Magazine, Paranormal Underground, and Strange Knocks, and a frequent guest speaker at paranormal conferences.https://www.maximfurek.com/https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FMK9L9HM https://www.pastliveshypnosis.co.uk/https://www.patreon.com/ourparanormalafterlifeMy book 'Verified Near Death Experiences' https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXKRGDFP Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Some houses don't need shattered windows or rotting staircases to be haunted. Sometimes, the most ordinary walls hide the darkest secrets. This true paranormal story comes from Lincoln Park, where one seemingly normal suburban home—nicknamed “Buckingham Palace”—harbored a haunting that would leave its mark forever. When Brittany was five, her family moved into the house. Her father painted her new room pink, filling the walls with hearts, Mickey Mouse sketches, and the family dog. He wanted it to feel safe. But safety was the one thing the house refused to offer. It began with whispers. A woman's voice, always calling the same name: “Brittany…” At first soft, then louder, until it screamed her name through the silence. Her parents brushed it off as imagination, but Brittany knew the voice came from inside the room—not outside. Then came the face. Enormous, distorted, hovering inches above her as she woke in the night. Not her mother. Not human. But smiling, as if to reassure her. Somehow, she didn't panic. She simply closed her eyes, praying it would be gone. The haunting wasn't just voices or visions. It touched her dreams—and her toys. One night she dreamed of her Barbie playset. The cat turned on her, eyes glowing red with jealousy, before stalking away. The next morning, the toy cat was gone. Never found again. As though the house itself had claimed it. Years later, in high school, Brittany finally learned the truth. Her father revealed that the previous owner had died by suicide—in her bedroom. The same room where the voices called, where the face loomed, where she felt watched every night. This wasn't imagination. This was intrusion. A haunting tied not to creaking floorboards, but to despair that never left the walls. And though her family eventually moved away, the memories—and the missing toy—remained. Because some houses never really let you go. #HauntedHouse #TrueGhostStory #RealHaunting #ParanormalEncounters #GhostStories #HauntedChildhood #CreepyTrueStories #Supernatural #ParanormalActivity #Haunted  #ScaryStory #TrueParanormal Love real ghost stories? There are many reasons a family might choose to move abroad. In the case of Americans, that reason is generally motivated by a desire for adventure, change, new scenery, unfamiliar culture, a slower pace of living, or just plain fun.  But not always. Today we sit down with friend of the show and past guest Jennie Spohr, a Seattleite historical fiction writer who chose to pack up her life, leave her home country, and move to Ireland with her family for political reasons. And there's a plot twist... What could be harder than convincing your teen and pre-teen kids to leave their friends, their school, and practically every aspect of their life and move to a new country? Convincing your ex-husband to come too. Don't miss this surprising and entertaining episode. Not all hauntings announce themselves with screams in the night or flickering lights caught on camera. Some creep in silently—moments so ordinary yet so chilling, they burn themselves into memory forever. This is one of those true stories. It begins in the safest of places: a bright, modern Methodist church. No gothic spires, no crumbling stone, no shadows dancing in candlelight. Just clean carpets, hymn books, and Sunday prayers. But for one child, everything changed the moment they opened their eyes. Because standing at the altar was a monk. Not the pastor. Not anyone from the congregation. A solid, robed figure—watching. Present. Real. And then… gone. That single vision opened the door to a lifetime of paranormal encounters. At university, the hauntings followed. Tools vanished from a design board—only to reappear when politely requested. Housemates saw figures standing silently in bedrooms. Later, in an architect's office in the Peak District, footsteps echoed on a spiral staircase, and even the receptionist swore she was speaking to someone who wasn't there. But the most unsettling hauntings came in the countryside churches. Some radiated warmth, like stepping into a family home. Others pressed down with a crushing sadness so overwhelming that surveyors abandoned their work mid-project. Even vicars—men and women of faith—grew uneasy in their own sanctuaries. No screams, no violence. Just grief so heavy it consumed anyone who lingered. This is not the story of a single haunted house. It's the story of a life marked again and again by the unseen. A monk who didn't belong. Tools that moved on their own. Shadows that whispered just out of sight. Evidence? None. But feelings don't lie. Once you've stepped into a space marked by the dead, you never walk out unchanged. If you've ever felt eyes on you in an empty church… if you've ever sensed sadness that wasn't your own… this true haunting will chill you to the core. #HauntedChurch #TrueGhostStory #RealHaunting #ParanormalEncounters #GhostStories #CreepyTrueStories #HauntedPlaces #GhostCaughtOnCamera #ParanormalActivity #ScaryChurchStories #TrueParanormal #Supernatural  Love real ghost stories? After using her untrained Command Voice to compel armed agents into forgetting their existence, Lyra learns the terrifying truth about her ancestry: she's descended from the White Siren, a woman so powerful that the Order was formed specifically to stop her. As Kai reveals that her abilities could rival those of the reality-altering Siren who nearly destroyed Salem, their supernatural connection deepens into something that transcends normal attraction. But when the Council of First Voices—transcended Sirens existing between dimensions—contacts Lyra through impossible means, they offer her a choice: embrace unlimited power or remain trapped by human limitations.Their recruitment attempt is revealed as a distraction when thousands of New Yorkers begin moving in synchronized precision toward the radio district, all under supernatural compulsion. With sunset approaching and a city-wide broadcast planned from her own station, Lyra must choose between fleeing to safety with Kai or facing an enemy whose power dwarfs her own. The lesson the Council promised is about to begin, and the entire tri-state area hangs in the balance.Unlock an ad-free podcast experience with Caloroga Shark Media! Some people grow up knowing they're not alone. For her, it started in childhood—voices in empty rooms, the sense of eyes at her back. At nineteen came the first direct encounter: a pitch-black, basketball-sized sphere perched at the corner of her bed. It didn't drift. It jumped—hard—slamming the bed into the headboard and scattering objects. “A nightmare,” her father said. But beds don't launch themselves. That's when the lifelong haunting began. Years passed. Activity ebbed, then surged. Nightmares left her soaked in sweat, heart racing, details erased—only terror remained. Last July, she moved to a quiet one-bedroom in Elk Grove, California, hoping for calm. Instead, a new ritual: each morning as she rolled to silence her alarm on the nightstand, a bloodcurdling scream blasted into her ear—as if someone shrieked inside her head. When she started keeping the phone in the bed, the screaming stopped. Coincidence… or response? This isn't a house story. It follows her. Not EMF meters and easy answers—just a pattern of intelligent responses, physical marks, and a protector that won't cross the threshold. One entity or many? Mimic, parasite, shadow that learned her routines? The evidence points to a relentless, personal haunting—one that screams through alarms, marks skin, shakes beds… and waits. #TrueGhostStory #RealHaunting #HauntedHouse #GhostCaughtOnCamera #ParanormalActivity #ShadowPeople #CreepyEncounters #UnexplainedMysteries #ElkGrove #Poltergeist #DogSeesGhosts #ScaryStory Love real ghost stories? Inglewood, California, 1956. What began as a new start for the Long family quickly turned into one of the most chilling hauntings ever whispered about in American suburbia. This is the true story of a four-year ordeal filled with poltergeist activity, ghostly footsteps, moving objects, and a face pressed against the window that would keep the children awake in terror. For Don Long and his siblings, the nightmare began with scratching sounds under their army surplus bunk beds. The noise would move across the room, from wall to wall, as if invisible claws were raking the wood. Soon, the scratching was joined by footsteps — frail, dragging, swish-swish footsteps that shuffled down the hall after midnight. Doors opened on their own. Objects flew across rooms. And then came the infamous night when a basketball dropped from a closet and began dribbling by itself. But the haunting reached its peak in 1958 when Don and his brother saw her: the apparition of an old woman in a white lace wedding dress, staring at them through the window of a locked shed. They later discovered the dress belonged to Mrs. Dillon, the previous owner's grandmother, who had died in that very house. The face they saw matched her photograph. Was this the spirit of Mrs. Dillon? A violent poltergeist feeding on fear? Or something darker still? The Long family lived it, survived it, and decades later, they still remember every sound and shadow. #truehaunting #ghoststory #paranormal #poltergeist #hauntedhouse #realhaunting #ghostbride #paranormalactivity #trueghoststories #creepy #supernatural #InglewoodHaunting Love real ghost stories? This week our writer Christian Thoma joined the mayhem that is the Blizzard Watch Podcast. Speaking of mayhem and the Blizzard Watch Podcast, you may recall that last week's episode ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, as the hosts discovered that, while they were recording the podcast, Blizzard released 14 blog posts detailing all the announcements that happened at Gamescom. This week, they discussed the highlights of all those posts, which made matters even more confusing as they contradicted some other interviews and information that came out right around the same time.Plus, another week, another new microtransaction most of us hate -- you can get a new cute capybara pet in WoW for spending a mere $75 on the Blizzard Gear Store (on specific items). Also, have you heard of a small indie game called Silksong? If you have a few minutes, please fill out our survey to tell us what you think about the podcast. Some hauntings stay in one place. Others stay with you. This is the true story of a woman who has been stalked for decades by a male presence that began as a shadow in childhood — and has only grown darker, bolder, and more terrifying with time. Since she was seven or eight years old, she has felt him. At first, he appeared in shadows, in small disturbances. Then, after moving back into the neighborhood where it all began, the entity returned with a vengeance. Her boyfriend saw him first — a tall figure dressed in black, lurking in the backyard exactly as she had predicted. Soon after, the haunting escalated: sudden storms of wind isolated only to her yard, blinding lights flashing from nowhere, and the horrifying sound of ten windows banging at once. The haunting grew more complex. Her boyfriend saw a blonde female ghost, later revealed to be “Sara,” a protective spirit who had been with her family for years. But Sara's presence only enraged the male entity. They demanded he leave, and for a moment, he did — but not far. Is this a restless spirit, a demon, or something far older and more dangerous? One thing is certain: he isn't gone. And he isn't finished. #ghoststory #paranormal #truehaunting #shadowman #hauntedhouse #realhaunting #demonicpresence #sleepparalysis #trueghoststories #spiritworld #poltergeist #malevolentspirit Love real ghost stories?
