Lorraine Bowen’s hour long Stereo Spectacular journey this month takes us into an incredible but true story! This radio show is all inspired from a C90 cassette Lorraine recently found when having a clear-out. The true story unfolds of how Lorraine’s mother won first prize in the Shredded Wheat Competition 1979. 1979 - home to afro cuts, public worker strikes, long scorching school holidays, tales of glandular fever and the grind of A Levels. Sit back and enjoy this very eccentric tale! It’s wonderful heart warming and very British! Lorraine's tenth radio programme and podcast is a tongue-in-cheek look at VOICES!
