Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Forward Paul George made his season debut vs. the Phoenix Suns last night and looked pretty good despite having an off shooting night. George's return made the Sixers look like a completely different team because of his gravity, shot creation, & playmaking. The end of the game was controversial as well because Paul George seemingly waved off Tyrese Maxey to take last shot despite Maxey having scored 32 points on 54% shooting. Also there was an update on All-NBA MVP Center Joel Embiid. The report states that Embiid could be ready to return as soon as the Los Angeles Clippers game on Wednesday. Could this just be the Sixers trying to expedite the NBA's investigation into the Embiid vs. Marcus Hayes incident?

n a shocking turn of events, both Joel Embiid and Paul George have been ruled OUT for the season opener. Paul George was expected to be ruled out but not Joel Embiid, on top of that Embiid has already been ruled out for the entire first week of the season. Sixers Head Coach Nick Nurse says that "this is all apart of the plan" and that Embiid "suffered no setbacks and will continue his ramp up process. To make matters worse, the Sixers' communication has left the fans in the dark, with no clear plan or updates. This is not fair to the fans who spend a lot of money on these tickets to see the stars play and be told that the stars are out 1 day prior to the actual game being played. Is this a sign of bigger issues for Philly this season?

ESPN reporter Shams Charania reported that Los Angeles Clippers All-NBA forward Kawhi Leonard will be out indefinitely with a knee injury. Terrible news for Kawhi and the Clippers but good news for the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers own the Clippers 2028 draft pick and a right to swap picks in 2029. The question now is should the Sixers use those picks in a trade to acquire another start for The Big 3 of Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, & Paul George? Or should they hold on to the picks and use them in the future to draft a young player next to Tyrese Maxey in his prime years? Sixers All-Star forward Paul George Hyper-Extended his knee in the preseason game vs. the Atlanta Hawks. According to twitter the timeline for this injury is 2-4 weeks. PG himself said that he is "not too concerned." This could be a big blow for the Sixers if George does miss time and will not be available for the season opener vs. the Milwaukee Bucks. Nick Nurse also has not said if the Sixers MVP All-NBA Center Joel Embiid will be available for the opening night either.
