I have been asked many times 'What is it like having depression?"'. Those who do not understand find it difficult to empathise as they cannot relate to what that person struggling is going through. From being depressed and suicidal to where I am today, this journey counts for something. When I came out 'the other end' with my mental health issues, I felt a moral obligation to talk about my story for the use of others out there who might be struggling to. I have since made it my life's work within the fitness industry to learn about mental health, human behaviour and how we can become a version of ourselves that we would be proud of. I have experienced what has felt like personal hell with my mental health struggles, but one day I said 'enough is enough'. From that day I made it my number 1 priority to do whatever it took to help myself feel better again.
