In this conversation, intimacy and confidence coach Samantha Gilhooly discusses the complexities of intimacy, relationships, and the impact of past trauma on sexual experiences. She emphasizes the importance of communication, emotional connection, and understanding one's desires in the bedroom. The discussion also touches on societal expectations of masculinity, the role of shame in intimacy, and the significance of aftercare in sexual relationships. Ultimately, Samantha argues that while great sex is important, it cannot save a relationship without a deeper emotional connection. Here how to know more and get in touch with Samantha Instagram https://www.instagram.com/iam.samanthagilhooly?igsh=a2RhZWRpYjJ0aHozWebsites https://stan.store/SamanthaTheSensualCode?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio

In this week's episode of The Career Confidence Podcast, I am looking into my crystal ball and identifying the key career themes for 2026. In this episode, we talk about:The integration of artificial intelligence into our professional lives will be crucial as we move forward, enabling us to enhance our productivity while retaining our unique human qualities that AI cannot replicate. Career resilience is no longer optional; we must adapt to rapid changes in the job market and develop versatile skills that enhance our employability across various sectors and industries. The traditional career ladder is becoming obsolete, and it is imperative that we begin to view our careers as portfolios filled with diverse experiences that showcase our adaptability and problem-solving capabilities. Establishing a strong personal brand is essential in today's competitive job market, as it not only highlights our skills but also ensures we are recognised for our contributions and expertise within our professional networks. The importance of maintaining personal well-being cannot be overstated, as we navigate a fast-paced work environment; setting boundaries and prioritising self-care will help prevent burnout and promote sustainable career growth. I also share how you can get involved and help shape the future of The Career Confidence Podcast when it returns in 2026.NB: I'm taking a break from releasing new episodes but there are over 120 episodes for you to explore!!!About Nicola SempleI help people build their career confidence and achieve their career goals. You can book a free no-obligation chat about how I can support you to achieve your career goals: https://nicolasemple.com/chatYou can get my free guide "Back Yourself: Your 7 Step Plan to Build Confidence and Achieve Your Career Goals": https://nicolasemple.com/backyourselfYou can buy my book The Career Confidence Toolkit: Take Control of Your Career and Fulfil Your Potential: https://nicolasemple.com/bookConnect with me on Linked In to carry on the conversation: https://linkedin.com/in/iamnicolasempleA new episode of The Career Confidence Podcast is released every second Friday. Hey Friends~   If you've been leaning on screens to help your little one talk, you're not alone. It often feels like the easiest option — and with all the advertising, it can even seem like the smartest choice when you're worried.   But real language grows through real play.   With Christmas coming up, I'm sharing ten toys and games that you can suggest to gift-giving friends and family - so you get gifts that provide powerful, communication-building opportunities. These ideas are fun, practical, and designed to work with how your child's brain naturally learns. Your little one is wired for human connection. Speech and language grow best through back-and-forth interaction with you.   Those screens that promise to teach your child? They can't hold a candle to the power of parent–child engagement. If you want to help your toddler say more, understand more, and connect more, this is a beautiful place to start. And after listening, you'll understand why your everyday interactions are more powerful than any app — which is incredibly empowering for you as a parent. Jeanie Cisco Meth is a dynamic speaker, best-selling author, and resilience coach known for her passion in helping others conquer bullying and develop true self-confidence. Having turned her own struggles with bullying, illness, and adversity into powerful lessons, Jeanie now empowers individuals and organizations—including schools, police, and the military—to implement bully-proofing strategies that foster authenticity, personal growth, and a positive mindset. Through her speaking, coaching programs, and book "Bully Proofing You," she has inspired countless people to break negative cycles, develop emotional awareness, and transform obstacles into stepping stones for lasting success. In this episode of Marketer of the Day, Jeanie returns to discuss her journey from classroom teacher and military veteran to founder of a coaching program that trains others in bully-proofing. She shares how her approach involves not just addressing bullying directly, but also empowering individuals to understand and regulate their emotions, reframe negative experiences, and create planned responses rather than reactive outbursts. Jeanie draws a clear distinction between discipline and bullying, emphasizes the importance of emotional intelligence, and explains how healing personal triggers can diffuse power dynamics in bullying situations. Listeners will hear real-life transformations and gain practical tools to build resilience, confidence, and purpose. Quotes: “A bully is someone who tries to intimidate or control through body language, words, or actions. Once it becomes physical, that's assault—and that's a different issue entirely.” “Bullying is rarely about you—it's about the other person's pain. If you heal your emotional triggers, you can respond with purpose instead of reacting from hurt.” “There's a fine line between discipline and bullying. Discipline calls out wrong behavior in love and truth; bullying attacks the person for being themselves.” Resources: Visit Jeanie Cisco Meth's Website Connect with Jeanie Cisco Meth on LinkedIn Connect with Jeanie Cisco Meth on Facebook Watch Jeanie Cisco Meth on YouTube Get "Bully Proofing You" on Amazon

These are simple, practical tools you can use even if you're exhausted, overwhelmed, and only have seven minutes a day to yourself. Because here's the truth no one tells us: becoming a mother lowers your confidence and self-belief for up to three years. And yet… we're never prepared for it. We're never told why it happens. We're certainly never shown how to rebuild ourselves from the inside out. In this conversation, you'll learn: The surprising reason confidence drops in motherhood How to quiet your inner critic The truth about self-worth How to stop comparison spirals Why celebrating tiny wins matters more than big achievements Getting comfortable with being uncomfortable You can listen to the Dr Nicole Le Pera episode that Zoe references here: How to heal yourself with Dr Nicole Le Pera Remember to subscribe to Motherkind — it helps more mothers find the show and keeps our community growing. These patterns often present as hesitation, overthinking, procrastination, or feeling like you need everything perfect before you show up online. I share how they show up in life and business, how they have shown up in my own journey, and how you can move forward with confidence even when doubts and fears are present. I also talk about the power of DM automation and how it keeps your business running even when you step away from your phone. What You'll Learn[00:00] Why visibility work matters and why hesitation usually comes from deeper blocks [00:28] Introduction to imposter syndrome and perfectionism [00:59] My mission to help entrepreneurs get visible and monetize on Instagram [02:07] How DM automation allows your content to drive leads while you are offline [03:03] How keywords in comments or DMs trigger links and next steps automatically [08:43] How imposter syndrome signals growth rather than weakness [10:12] The emotional journey leading up to speaking at Wedding MBA [14:04] How perfectionism shows up through planning, delaying, and waiting [15:00] How writing my book has challenged my own perfectionism [20:30] Why sustainability matters more than hustling in every directionKey TakeawaysImposter syndrome and perfectionism are not signs that you lack readiness. This is a fan fav episode. What up homies! Are you ready to turn your crippling exhaustion and overwhelming stress into the very thing that builds your confidence? Well, I'm right there with you! I'm sharing a very candid Instagram Live I recorded recently, and I'm giving you the all-access pass to what the real journey to success and confidence looks like (for me anyway). It's not all luxury and glitz; it's genuine, raw, and at times, extremely uncomfortable. It means the world to me to be able to share these not-so-glamourous moments with you, so you know what it takes to keep moving forward. Your confidence is going to take a nose-dive, and the decisions you make will feel questionable at times.  Why this honesty? Because it's real. And in real life, these tough times are universal. In this episode, I'm serving up some serious food for thought on how to stay present, manage your energy, and tackle those inevitable roadblocks like a true champion. Also, let me tell you the most peculiar date I've ever been on. I'm spilling the tea on how my hubby and I went from causal fling to the unexpected love of a lifetime. I hope our 22-year long journey inspires someone and reveals what's possible.. So, if you're all set to change your perspective on overwhelm, say farewell to burnout, and step up your game, hit that play button and let's go.  Original air date: 2-9-2024 Learn more about your ad choices. In today's episode of The Career Confidence Podcast, I am talking about:The myth that those who successfully change careers are inherently braver than others is completely misleading. Career changes often stem from a tipping point where individuals can no longer tolerate their current situation. Staying in a job that doesn't fulfil you requires its own form of courage, as it can be emotionally exhausting and draining. Taking small, manageable steps towards a career change is more effective than waiting for a moment of exceptional bravery. There is a quiet moment in everyone's journey where frustration meets truth. You might feel like you have done enough, worked hard enough, waited long enough, and therefore life should finally reward you. It is easy to believe you deserve more simply because you want more. Yet, real transformation rarely begins with receiving; it begins with earning. This Mindset Debrief episode explores the powerful shift from expectation to effort, from passive deserving to active earning. It is a story many of us know well: you set a goal, put in effort, and expect results to follow on your timeline. But when progress stalls, doubt grows. It is here, in that uneasy space, where some people stop, while others rise. Those who rise do so not because they are gifted or lucky, but because they chose to earn their growth relentlessly.Through reflective insight and practical direction, this episode challenges the belief that success arrives simply because you worked once. Success arrives because you continue to show up. You build discipline when motivation fades. You commit to improvement even when no one is watching. Consistency becomes the quiet engine behind your results. In this episode you will learn:• Why entitlement quietly steals progress and momentum• How an earning mindset builds confidence, resilience, and direction• The difference between activity and disciplined execution• Why identity shifts when effort becomes a lifestyle, not a burst• How to step out of waiting mode and into personal agencyThis is not about punishment or perfection. It is about reclaiming control. Growth belongs to those willing to earn it consistently, thoughtfully, and patiently. You do not rise by hoping for outcomes, you rise by preparing for them. The person you want to become will not show up simply because you desire that life. They will appear through practice, discipline, and repeated action.Your future is not guaranteed. It is built. Step into the process and earn the life you say you want.If you are ready to build a stronger, steadier version of yourself, start here. Because gratitude is not waiting for you to feel ready, it's waiting for you to begin.Share this episode with someone who could benefit from the information.CONNECT WITH THE PODCAST:IG: https://www.instagram.com/paulpantani/WEBSITE: https://www.transitiondrillpodcast.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulpantani/SIGN-UP FOR THE NEWSLETTER:https://transitiondrillpodcast.com/home#aboutQUESTIONS OR COMMENTS:paul@transitiondrillpodcast.comSPONSORS:Blue Line RoastingGet 10% off your purchaseLink: https://bluelineroasting.comPromocode: Transition10

Through her coaching and the Self Worth Accelerator Mastermind, she has empowered women to step into their highest selves, overcome fear, and unlock their full potential in salary negotiations. As of today, Evie has helped her clients secure over $750k in base salary increases. She's been featured on Yo Quiero Dinero, Ch*ngona Revolution, Save 6 Figures with Gina Knox, Say Hola Wealth, Life as a Gringo, Chisme that Matters, and Vida Wish I Knew Then podcasts. In this week's episode, Evie and I talk about how she learned how to feel rich in courage. Before she joined Courage Driven Latina, she had already taken the steps to living a more courageous life by advocating for herself and negotiating her salary. The company that was paying her white male colleague twice as much as her only offered her an additional $1,000 annually. Instead of internalizing or spiraling, Evie applied to other companies in her industry and almost doubled her salary through her negotiating skills. Money was tight, but she believed in herself and took smart, courageous actions anyway. Tune in to hear how Evie is helping Latinas close the wealth gap and how you can learn how to negotiate your salary today! Send us a textIn this episode of The So Be It Podcast, Dr Amen Kaur explores how modern women can build confidence without burnout through nervous-system science and self-mastery.What if the exhaustion you're carrying isn't burnout, but biology doing its best to keep you safe? We trace how history shaped a survival reflex that ties safety to approval and why that reflex still shows up as people pleasing, perfectionism, and self-silencing in high-stakes rooms. Drawing from epigenetics, neuroception, and practical nervous system science, we break down what happens when the amygdala takes over, why language disappears at the moment you most need it, and how to turn awareness into lasting change without white-knuckling your way through.Together, we unpack the difference between hustle-fueled productivity and presence-driven progress. You'll learn how to spot survival strategies masquerading as strengths, and how to replace them with regulated action...small, calm steps that compound into confidence and self-trust. We walk through breath cues that re-engage the prefrontal cortex, reframes for fear that honor your body's intent, and practical micro-asks that train your system to associate visibility with safety rather than threat. This is confidence as chemistry, not performance; courage as capacity, not posturing. If you're ready to stop outsourcing safety to approval or overwork, this conversation offers clear tools and compassionate language to help you lead from presence. Expect grounded strategies for asking for the raise, naming your contribution, and holding boundaries without guilt - plus a simple framework for turning awareness into action.Subscribe, share this with someone who needs it, and leave a review with the one small, safe step you'll take today.

Today´s episode is about developing a sense of authority not just in the work you make, but also in all the other moving parts of being an artist. Including writing that dreaded artist statement, submitting for an exhibition you're not sure you're ready for, grant applications, open calls, sitting across from a curator and talking about your work. All vital tasks that fill many artists with dread. The feeling of authority doesn't just appear one day in the studio and spread everywhere else. It has to be practised, over and over, in different contexts to be fully acquired. In the same way you build confidence in making—through trial, error, repetition, embodiment—you can build confidence in applying, pitching, choosing, and communicating. It's not a different skill set. It's the same muscle, exercised in a new way. Ceri shares how. KEY TAKEAWAYS Choose one hard thing to practice on purpose. Don't wait for the perfect opportunity. Maybe it's submitting to one open call a month. Maybe it's rewriting your bio every quarter. The point isn't the outcome; it's the repetition and the practice. Reframe mistakes as rehearsal. Nobody expects your first sculpture to be perfect. So why expect your first application to be flawless? Apply your creative strengths to tasks you struggle with. Use qualities you embody in the studio, such as persistence, playfulness, and problem-solving. BEST MOMENTS “Practice being the kind of person who can handle things, who can figure things out, who can do hard things, because authority isn't just about making extraordinary work, it's about trusting yourself to carry that work into the world.” “Each attempt is a sketch, a draft, a rehearsal. Over time, those rehearsals create flow.” “If there's a genuine learning opportunity and the only thing holding you back is, I don't know how, try saying yes. Authority grows through doing, not waiting.” PODCAST HOST BIO With over 35 years in the art world, Ceri has worked closely with leading artists and arts professionals, managed public and private galleries and charities, and curated more than 250 exhibitions and events.
