An examination through discussion of the insanity, absurdity and cultural relevance of the 1999 installment of the Woodstock music festival.
The Podcast 99 podcast is a must-listen for anyone interested in the Woodstock '99 music festival. Since watching the Netflix documentary, I have been glued to this podcast and have listened to every survivor story. The level of detail and dedication from these guys is incredible. They create an immersive experience that makes you feel like you're back in Rome, NY in 1999. Every time a new episode drops, it's a must-listen.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the energy and knowledge that the hosts bring to each episode. Their excitement is contagious and they truly have a passion for the subject matter. The episode on Pony was *chef's kiss* and I couldn't stop listening for two days straight. The banter between the hosts feels unscripted and natural, making it a fun and enjoyable listen.
However, there are some minor drawbacks to consider. While entertaining, not all of the facts presented are accurate, so it's important to take some information with a grain of salt. That being said, it doesn't detract too much from the overall enjoyment of the podcast.
In conclusion, The Podcast 99 is an amazing show that provides incredible insight into Woodstock '99 and its cultural impact. It's refreshing to hear regular people talk passionately about a subject they love, and the hosts do an excellent job of explaining what happened at the festival and its aftermath. I highly recommend giving this podcast a listen if you're interested in reliving or learning about one of the most notorious music festivals in history.
