On this weeks episode I am very happy to have 2 people on that need no introduction. These two are the force behind Dicky's Dumps, some of the most popular frozen dumplings sold in the lower mainland. For many years these two worked outside the food world and became absolute experts in marketing, branding and sales. That, along with years of event and social media experience and an absolute love of dumpling, their own Hong Kong heritage and their incredible sense of community has made these two synonymous with delicious dumps. I hope you enjoy our chat. Send us your feedback

Daily Soap Opera Spoilers by Soap Dirt (GH, Y&R, B&B, and DOOL)
Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt General Hospital spoilers show drastic changes in the character of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) following his traumatic experiences at the WSB. Jason, now focused on his son Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn), begins to rethink his life choices, potentially causing shockwaves among his close associates, including Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). GH spoilers indicate that Britt, already at a low point in her life, is likely to face further turmoil as Jason's new priorities may lead him to end their relationship. Additionally, Jason's traumatic experiences and desire to protect Danny could see him step back from his professional relationship with Sonny, leaving Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) pleased. Spoilers for General Hospital suggest that Jason's potential move back to the Quartermaine mansion could lead to reconnections with family members like Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). Viewers may also expect less antagonistic interactions between Jason and Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), both of whom have undergone life-altering experiences. More GH spoilers indicate that as Jason embarks on a new path, we may expect the introduction of a new romantic partner, possibly Serena Baldwin, who is expected to join the show later this month. However, given the trauma inflicted on him by the WSB, it seems unlikely that Jason would join their ranks. Instead, viewers may see a more focused and family-oriented Jason in upcoming episodes, potentially leading to new and exciting storylines in the future. We also dig into the structural layout of voter registration rolls, including over 100,000 non-citizens, and review citizen journalist J.J. Smith's shocking undercover video catching cash-for-signature election fraud on the streets of San Francisco.

Send us Fan MailThe Spanish River has a way of teaching fast. On days three and four of our canoe trip, we went from “pretty comfortable on lakes” to getting humbled by rockered whitewater boats that love to wander. With about 25 kilometres on day three, we felt every little twitch in the hull, zigzagged more than we'd like to admit, and learned how much energy it takes to find a clean rhythm when the boat is built to turn. The good news: moving water gives back. Once we started trusting the current and making smarter choices, the kilometres stopped feeling impossible.A big part of the growth came from structured practice. Beth coached us through ferry angles, eddy entries, and the kind of boat control that turns swifts from stressful to satisfying. We also talk candidly about mistakes, including dumping three times over four days and the fully loaded swim that came down to miscommunication, a bad angle, and one classic error: grabbing the gunnels. If you've ever wondered what actually happens to your gear in a flip, we get into what stayed put, what popped out, and why packing discipline matters on river trips. We wrap with the practical stuff that doesn't make highlight reels but absolutely matters: low water scraping, getting hung up, spacing your group so nobody is out of reach, and the value of a guided trip where the guide can also cook. (Bill's camp meals deserve their own segment.) If you're planning a Spanish River canoe trip, levelling up your moving-water skills, or just want an honest triplog with real lessons, hit play, then subscribe, share the episode with a paddling buddy, and leave a review so more Canadian campers can find us.Support the showCONNECT WITH US AT SUPER GOOD CAMPING:Support the podcast & buy super cool SWAG: https://store.skgroupinc.com/super_good_camping/shop/homeEMAIL: hi@supergoodcamping.comWEBSITE: www.supergoodcamping.comYOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFDJbFJyJ5Y-NHhFseENsQINSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/super_good_camping/TWITTER: https://twitter.com/SuperGoodCampinFACEBOOK GROUP: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SuperGoodCamping/TIKTOK: https://www.tiktok.com/@supergoodcampingSupport the show
Geoffrey Wawro, guest author, explains that in 1970, Nixon ordered an incursion into Cambodia to destroy NVA supply dumps and the Ho Chi Minh Trail extensions. While US forces captured significant materiel, the NVA simply withdrew deeper into the interior and rebuilt their supply lines shortly after the Americans left. This widening of the war triggered unprecedented domestic protests, most notably at Kent State, where National Guard troops killed four students. Despite the outcry, Nixon found support among the "Silent Majority" and working-class "hard hats" who loathed the anti-war movement. The Cambodian operation exemplified the mismatch between the US desire for a quick victory and the NVA's strategic patience. Ultimately, the incursion failed to cut the trail permanently as the NVA adapted by establishing new routes through Laos to compensate for the losses. The Vietnam War: A Military History (6)

Bitcoin just cratered to $57K — a fresh 21-month low, the lowest since September 2024 — as the token sliced through its 200-week moving average, historically a signal of prolonged bear markets. Fed rate HIKE fears from Kevin Warsh and mounting concerns over Strategy's new $1.25 BILLION sell authorization are stripping Bitcoin's biggest structural bid, with June ETF outflows now confirmed at a record $6 BILLION. Meanwhile the biggest stablecoin story ever just dropped: 140+ giants — including BlackRock, Visa, Stripe, Mastercard, Amex, Google, Samsung, Shopify, Coinbase, and Ripple — just launched Open USD (OUSD), a USDC killer with zero mint/redeem fees and reserve earnings shared with partners. Stripe's president declared OUSD "the DEFAULT stablecoin for businesses running on Stripe," and Circle stock (CRCL) crashed 15% overnight. Add Trump's disclosed $1.4 BILLION in 2025 crypto earnings blowing up the Clarity Act ethics fight — and we break down whether Bitcoin's bottom is in, or if this is just the start of something much worse. Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson is seeking proposals for an $8 million "homelessness prevention fund" that will distribute about $8,000 per household in rental assistance and eviction protection. It sounds compassionate on paper — until you ask who actually ends up in Seattle's encampments and why they're there.Sean makes the case that funneling taxpayer cash through a revolving door of nonprofit intermediaries doesn't treat the addiction driving visible homelessness; it creates a taxpayer-funded revenue stream for NGOs with every incentive to keep the crisis alive. The math is brutal: a World Cup-era city-funded housing project built 500 units and has 7 occupants. Meanwhile Seattle rents keep climbing, and every new "prevention fund" announcement is another chapter in the homeless industrial complex collecting checks while the problem compounds. The deeper issue is the progressive refusal to name the root cause. Rental assistance for functional families in temporary hardship is a different policy category than what Seattle is actually funding — and conflating the two is either dishonest or delusional. When the policy framework treats addiction-driven homelessness as a housing supply problem, you don't solve homelessness; you subsidize it indefinitely while driving everyone else out of the city.Subscribe to @reasonablenews for daily commentary on the stories Seattle media won't touch honestly.#Seattle #HomelessCrisis #KatieWilsonGO PREMIUM WITH REASONABLE+ FOR UNCENSORED ACCESS

Today's Headlines: Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized for over a week with his office offering nothing beyond "he's still working closely with staff." Meanwhile, JD Vance called the Iran talks a "classic Trump deal" while the administration temporarily lifted oil sanctions letting Iran sell oil in US dollars for the first time since 2018 — when Trump blew up the original deal — with Iran saying they made "no new commitments," the Strait of Hormuz status depends entirely on who you ask, and Vance gets visibly snubbed by Iran's foreign minister during a photo op. Trump responded to New York Times war coverage by threatening to add their reporting to his $15 billion defamation lawsuit and calling them treasonous, which is bold from someone whose last Times lawsuit was thrown out within days. The administration is threatening to withhold a billion dollars in homeland security funding from states unless they overhaul their election laws — paper ballots, federal audits, administration-preferred voter databases, all at state expense — which is unconstitutional and headed straight for court, while a George W. Bush-appointed judge blocked DOJ subpoenas targeting Tim Walz and other Minnesota officials, finding "overwhelming" evidence they were issued purely to harass political opponents. Jeanine Pirro is threatening to prosecute anyone caught "vandalizing" the reflecting pool, at least five people have been federally cited for being near it, and Trump claimed someone made a 350-foot gash in a pool he simultaneously described as uncuttable. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer resigned — the country's seventh prime minister in ten years, right on Brexit's tenth anniversary — with Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham as frontrunner to replace him, while researchers found Elon Musk played an "instrumental" role in inciting Belfast's anti-immigrant riots by generating over half of 115 million views driving the unrest, prompting England and Wales's attorney general to ban his office from using X. Bitcoin just collapsed below $62,000 in one of the worst weeks since July 2024, with the AI trade unwinding violently and $1.5 billion in crypto longs getting wiped out in 24 hours. We are now staring down $60K with the next technical support all the way at $55K, and the safety nets that held earlier 2026 drawdowns are gone. Meanwhile Zcash absolutely cratered 37% in one of its worst single day slumps ever after Shielded Labs disclosed a critical Orchard pool bug that could have allowed unlimited undetectable counterfeit ZEC, a vulnerability hiding since 2022 and uncovered by Anthropic's Opus 4.8 AI model. We are breaking down whether Bitcoin defends $60K or rolls to $55K, what the Zcash bug means for the entire privacy coin narrative, and why this could be the most dangerous setup of the entire cycle.
