Donna was healthy and fairly active, but after the birth of her second daughter, was slowly gaining unwanted weight every year. Despite her best efforts to manage and control her eating habits on her own, she was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. This was a diagnosis that was close to home, literally. She was witnessing some of her closest loved ones suffer from diabetes and weight control that did not just inconvenience them, it was killing them. Fearing the pattern of diabetes in her family, watching her own weight gain spiral out of control, she decided to take positive actions. Possibly like you, Donna had to experiment with changing food available in the house, counting calories, measuring proteins, calculating fats, fasting, taking supplements, replacing meals with shakes, and even a few “fad” programs on her own. This was the beginning steps of her journey toward a healthier lifestyle. Today, nearly two years later, she has lost 70 lbs., and most importantly, she has learned how to not “yo-yo” her weight gains and losses. Donna brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and practical solutions to the No Rules Health team.
