March 29th 2020 COVID 19- Phishing and Smishing In the most recent days events we are seeing a up tick in cyber security scams focusing around the premise of COVID-19. In these text messages and Phishing emails we are starting to see the attacker play on the weakness in the vulnerability of the unknown. These cyber scams are offering locations and areas for treatment and symptoms. These scams are taking peoples passwords, credential harvesting, deploy Trojans and command and control viruses on peoples mobile bases and computers. The only remedy is to be vigilant and prepared for the attackers to pray upon our vulnerabilities in moments of weakness. Exercise best judgment and continue to Hyper vigilant.
