Carlos Cardoza enters his second season as the manager of the Frisco RoughRiders. He shares his coaching philosophy, speaks on a busy offseason and talks about becoming a father. The Puerto Rico native piloted the Riders to a 64-73 record in 2023 and has amassed a 376-280 (.573) record over his seven seasons as a skipper.

Josh Stephan went to South Grand Prairie High School, less than 40 miles away from Riders Field. He signed with the Texas Rangers out of high school in 2020 and made his Double-A debut on the 4th of July, 2023, as the starting pitcher in front of 12,045 fans in Frisco. Stephan is just 21 years old and a top-30 prospect in the Rangers farm system.

A native of Conway, Arkansas, Nick Starr signed with the Rangers after his pitching career at Southern Arkansas University. Starr joins the podcast to talk about getting drafted by the Reds but not signing, deep conversations in the bullpen, and his dream for post-baseball life.
