    The story How The Camel Got Its Hump is a fable written by noted writer Rudyard Kipling. The story is about the time when animals had just started working for Man. However, while the other animals worked, the camel would just laze around in the desert, refusing to do any work. He would say only “humph” when the animals asked him to work with them. Finally, a genie took matters into his hands and asked him why he wouldn't work. The camel again uttered “humph”. The genie then did some magic and as the camel said “humph”, there emerged a bump on his beautiful back. The genie said that now with the hump the camel could work tirelessly for days and said that the hump was a reminder to him of the days when he refused to work.
