Dr. Kimani Borland is a Naturopathic Doctor, qualified Vinyasa, and Kemetic Yoga teacher, and mother to two sons. Dani McClain is a writer and award-winning journalist who reports on race and reproductive health. Mars Lord is an award-winning doula and birth activist with a burning desire to see the ‘colouring in of the landscape of birth.’ She is also committed to finding out the reasons for the increasing maternal and neonatal morbidity rates for women of colour. Mars created Abuela Doulas, a doula preparation for women of colour.
