In the Trapping Today podcast, I work to keep fur and ADC trappers up to date on trapping news and information, as well as tips, tricks and techniques we all can use to make ourselves better trappers. Stay tuned for all that matters in the world of trapping.
The Trapping Today podcast, hosted by Jeremiah Wood, is an excellent resource for trappers and those interested in the art of trapping. Jeremiah's knowledge and expertise shine through in each episode, making it both informative and educational. His books are also highly recommended reads for anyone looking to delve deeper into the world of trapping. Overall, James Blackwood finds the podcast to be outstanding.
One of the best aspects of The Trapping Today podcast is Jeremiah's ability to provide valuable information and insights for both experienced trappers and beginners alike. He covers a wide range of topics, from techniques and strategies to historical accounts and interviews with other trappers. The episodes are packed with useful tips and tricks that can greatly benefit trappers in their own endeavors. It's evident that Jeremiah is passionate about trapping and dedicated to sharing his knowledge with others.
On the downside, there are a few areas where this podcast could improve. One listener suggests improving the audio quality, as they had difficulty hearing Jeremiah clearly even with maximum volume on their device. Additionally, they hope for fewer livestreams and more guest appearances or co-hosts to diversify the content and bring in different perspectives. While these critiques may not apply to everyone, they are worth considering for future episodes.
In conclusion, The Trapping Today podcast is a great resource for individuals interested in trapping. Whether you're a seasoned trapper or just starting out, there is something valuable to be gained from each episode. Jeremiah Wood's passion shines through in his insightful discussions, making this podcast a must-listen for anyone looking to enhance their trapping skills or gain a greater appreciation for this age-old practice.

Yeah, it's episode 200 of the podcast. But I've never been big on milestones, birthdays, holidays or celebrations, so on we go, with little fanfare. In this episode I chat with Alex from Wisconsin, a fellow farmer who spends parts of his winters trapping raccoons and muskrats. Most of his raccoon trapping is done with dog proofs and focused on helping other farmers with crop damage problems. He catches most of his muskrats through the ice. It's a fun conversation and I learned a lot about DP trapping. We also talk a little about bear hunting, coyotes and other stuff. Enjoy! Support our Sponsors:Kaatz Bros.
