In this episode of the podcast, we talk with Tara's co-host on the "Basic Snitches" podcast, Adam Bowers! Adam is somewhat familiar with the "In Death" world because of Tara, but has never read an "In Death" book before. So Tara thought it would be fun to give him an "In Death" book to read and get his reactions. The book that Tara decided to give to him was "Witness in Death," mostly because Adam is a huge Agatha Christie fan. Adam's overall thoughts about the book is that it's a lot of straight people fucking, and he's not wrong there. Also, as AJ thought when she first read this book for the first time, he thinks Roarke is kind of a dick. He pictures Eve as actress Jane Lynch, which we're really not mad about. He's also not really happy that there's still a lot of income inequality in Nora's future. But he does think that Eve's an interesting character. At the end of the podcast, Adam answers our fan questions and we find out some really interesting things about him. Overall, this is a really entertaining episode, and we hope you enjoy it!

I'm joined by podcaster and the writer/director/star of a heart warming summer flick set in Gainesville, Fl. New Low (2010) A neurotic twenty-something struggles to figure out which girl he really belongs with: the best one he's ever known, or the worst. Adam and I also went to high school together which makes this the ultimate nostalgia episode for me!
The Geekdom Gamescast is a monthly video game bonus episode in collaboration with God Hates Geeks hosted by Myke and GHG's own Travis Moody. We had so much to say about our main subject of this episode that we ended up breaking it apart to stand on its own - and it is worth it for our guest, Adam Bower's expertise in looter shooters alone. That's right, we have GHG's resident Destiny expert on to talk about the newest, and biggest, looter shooter to come out this quarter - Bioware's ANTHEM. Before we take off in our Javelin's we do talk about Apex Legends and the Division 2 beta a little as well.
Today's Guest: Adam Bowers Adam Bowers is a Third Grade Teacher at Beech Elementary in Wichita, Kansas. He is in his eighth week of actual teaching so here at the Teacher Recharge Podcast we refer to him as a "baby"! He completed his degree at Friends University where he was a Resident Assistant, Actor, Choir Member, and Soccer Player (yes, he is kind of a big deal). In this episode we discuss what it was like to begin his teaching career, what he does to stay energized, how he engages students, what he has learned during his first few weeks, and Donal Trumps hairline. Today's Guest: Me? To make a long story short, I pressed a wrong button while working on the original file for this week's episode with Adam Bowers and lost the entire thing. That does not mean you won't enjoy this episode though! Today I give you my Monday rituals, talk about 5 hour energy and how it allows me to see into different dimensions, and finish off with a story time featuring the eight year olds that I coach. It may be a short episode, but it is mighty! Enjoy!
