A former Clare intercounty player says the experience Clare will have gained from their Division 2 League campaign will stand to Clare in the latter stages of the championship. Clare go to Chadwicks Wexford Park on Sunday looking to secure a home quarter final with a win. Both sides are already guaranteed a place in the last eight courtesy of impressive wins over Offaly in their previous outings. Clare FM analyst, Ann Marie Callinan, says the games against quality opposition will give Graham Shine's an edge.

The Division 2 has released new paid DLC titled "The Battle For Brooklyn". Court has played it, what are his thoughts? Wabba and Pezzy had a dual stream as they tried to court the men and ladies of "Pick Me, Pick Me". Now that they've gotten their hands on the game, what do they think of it? EA is cleaning house and Black Panther's game was chopped. That wasn't the only thing to happen in EA third layoff of the year! And more!
Ubisoft sucks and content creating is a REAL career.
Galway go in search of a first national ladies football title in 11 years when they clash with Cork in the LIDL National League Division 2 Final on Saturday (12th April 2025). The Tribeswomen have beaten the Rebelettes in their last two competitive meetings, including last year's All-Ireland semi-final, and their second game in this year's league (2-8 to 0-12) thanks to goals from Leanne Coen and Roisin Leonard. Both teams have already been promoted to Division 1, but a league title would be a welcome boost for Galway, which beat Westmeath in 2014, the last time they played for Division 2 honours. Leading up to the game, Galway manager Daniel Moynihan chatted to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly on 'Over The Line.' == Throw-in at Croke Park on Saturday is 3pm and we'll have LIVE coverage with Darren Kelly and Katelyn Hayes on Galway Bay FM.
Lidl Ireland and the Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) are gearing up for an action-packed weekend of National Football League Finals across all four divisions, with Armagh, Kerry, Cork and Galway all battling it out at Croke Park, while Cavan, Wexford, Antrim and Fermanagh will target silverware in Drogheda and Clones. The scene is set for four intriguing ties – as captains and representatives from the eight competing teams gathered in Dublin today ahead of the weekend fixtures. The Divisions 1 and 2 Finals will form an exciting double-header at Croke Park next Saturday, April 12, with the Divisions 3 and 4 Finals to be contested next Sunday, April 13, in Drogheda and Clones respectively. In the Division 2 Final, which will precede the Division 1 showpiece, Cork and Galway will battle it out for silverware after claiming promotion. Relegated from Division 1 in 2024, Cork and Galway have bounced back to the top tier at the first attempt, and will now look to put the icing on a sweet-tasting Lidl National League cake by landing the trophy on offer. Armagh, Kerry, Cork and Galway were also the 2024 TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship semi-finalists, proof positive that all four teams have carried last year's encouraging form into the 2025 season. So, will Kerry gain revenge on Armagh after losing last year's Lidl NFL Division 1 Final, and move ahead of Cork in the all-time roll of honour with a 13th Division 1 title? Or will Armagh get the better of the Kingdom again at Croke Park to claim their second crown? All will be revealed, as Galway target a first Division 2 title win since 2014, while Cork eye second tier glory for the first time since 2003. Galway captain Katie Geraghty was in attendance at the LIDL National League Finals media day and she spoke to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly. ==
In this episode of The Football Scholarship Podcast, we sit down with Dennis and his dad, Rob, to share the story of how Dennis went from sending a few templated emails and waiting on coaches to call… to landing over $100,000 in athletic scholarship money and walking into a college coach's office completely unannounced—with the confidence to walk out with an offer. They talk about the early struggles, not knowing where to start, and the moment they realized the old way of recruiting no longer worked. You'll hear how Dennis embraced the uncomfortable, built new habits, and grew into a young man who could advocate for himself, communicate with confidence, and take full ownership of his recruiting journey. It's a real and inspiring conversation about overcoming rejection, showing up consistently, and what's possible when you have the right mentorship and a plan.
