Stéphanie's parents weren't always the best at managing money. As she was entering adulthood she realized that if she wanted to have money it was up to her. She worked hard and did well but continued to struggle. After her kids and husband were all diagnosed with ADHD, Stephanie finally allowed herself to be tested and discovered what she already knew, she had ADHD. Knowing that her brain learns and processes differently, Stéphanie was able to rewrite her money story. She and her husband put tools in place to help them better manage their finances. They have regular check-in meetings to stay on track and they are now debt free. They have even been able to save and pay for a backyard renovation and regularly have space in their budget for fun stuff like eating dinner out. Stéphanie now coaches those who want to overcome limiting beliefs and reach their full potential. In this episode she shares her experience and some of her best tips on how to break free from inner conflict and live the life you desire. Ruslana Wrzesnewskyj, founder and driving force behind Help Us Help The Children (HUHTC) which as been helping orphans in Ukraine for 30 years now., Deeply passionate about saving Ukraine's children and nurturing a new generation that will deliver a prosperous future for Ukraine. Ruslana has been working tirelessly the last two weeks to help all the orphanages she works with, and to find safe passage for the orphans they help. She joins me to share ways we can get involved. Anne Brodie has the latest in entertainment this week with her thoughts on Wildwood with Michael Greyeyes, Phoenix Rising about Evan Rachel Wood's abusive relationship with Brian Warner aka Marilyn Manson, and the much anticipated The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds on Netflix. PLUS she's back later in the show with an interview with the fabulous Cassandra Freeman from the new show Bel-Air based on the 90s comedy The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The last couple of years have been filled with anger and divisiveness on just about everything in our society and it's wearing us all down. In an attempt to turn things around and build community, Catherine Dunphy is asking people to look for the good all around them and #amplifykindness on social media whenever you see somebody being kind or alternatively when you do something kind. By shifting our focus to the helping instead of hurting, we can move together towards a brighter future. Denise Chand from The Sacred Space joins me for the third instalment on getting your life unstuck. In this week's interview we take a closer look at taking a closer look at ourselves. From processing disappointment to assessing our thoughts and behaviours, Denise shares why the biggest key to getting unstuck starts with Betrayal, believe it or not, can be an opportunity and Stéphanie Rourke Jackson, founder of Beacon Coaching &Leadership is joining me today to discuss how. While admittedly there is pain when betrayal happens, Stephanie, through lived experience, wants you to know that you can move on together with the person who betrayed you and step into a better life together. Stephanie Jackson and I talk about coaching. As you listen you will feel like you’re getting a free session with Stephanie. She outlines her method and asks some powerful questions to get you thinking about your values. Then, we talk about the key moments that lead someone to rethink they’re path completely. Stephanie’s story has elements of finding love, keeping secrets, doing what you enjoy, then finding a deeper purpose to attach that joy to. She is just starting out on a new venture with Beacon Coaching, but the discovery of that path was not an easy one, it came through betrayal, heartbreak, and a friend stepping in at the right moment to ask the right questions and coach Stephanie along to being who she is made to be and doing what she is made to do.
