Gurdeep Ahluwalia is the host of Canada's most watched regional morning show on CP24. He has been the host since 2016 and prior to that he was the on TSN on SportsCentre. What impresses me the most about Gurdeep is he is the type of person who goes out and makes things happen for himself. Even when he was unsuccessful or got turned down for an opportunity he continued to hustle and not let that bring him down. He likes to say that he “reads the tea leaves” and has jumped into different positions in the Toronto media landscape. He's reinvented himself a couple of times, from print to lifestyle to sports and then to being the news anchor on CP24. Gurdeep is open and honest and gives a behind the scenes look into what happens on a morning show. We also a touch a little bit on how he deals with his mental health Ron Burgundy, he is not. My guest this week is Naty Howard. Naty is a sacred healer and wellness warrior. She is the author of the upcoming book ‘Your Mighty Inner Healer', a certified Anusara Yoga Teacher, Shamanic Practitioner, a certified QRA™ Practitioner, and a landscape painter. She holds a certificate in Ayurvedic Living Nutrition and a BAA in Photographic Arts. Naty's work and passion are anchored in the awareness that every breath and every action are an opportunity to transform. She offers classes and workshops to awaken into sacredness, come back into alignment of body, mind and soul through deep reverence. She offers tools and practices for those who seek to power up their health, ignite their transformation and spark their revolution, that are anchored in Earth and ancestral wisdom. Having healed herself from extreme heavy metal toxicity causing numbness on the right side of her body, she now offers others tools and practices for deep healing, for the reclaiming of your self, your power, freedom, purpose, best potential, your buried soul treasures and the possibility to truly reclaim your mightiness. I recently met Naty at a Sacred full moon ceremony where she walked us through a yoga practice, some meditation with deep belly breathing and then she took us through a guided spiritual journey. I'd never done one like this and it was a pretty cool experience. I missed a good chunk of the journey that everyone else got, as I kinda fell asleep. The Anti-Valentine's Day Episode

It's the week of love. Valentine's Day is here and if you are like Laura and I you are probably sick of seeing all the shout out's on social media from one spouse to another. We don't do this. We do it every other day and do it in person. This is our Anti-Valentine's Day episode. This week on the Oil Dudes Podcast Laura joins me and we talk relationships, what it's like to be a power couple (at least that's what other people have called us) and we share some our relationship secrets. We also scoured the internet for advice and found the 12 ways that you too might be a power couple. And we discuss and try to figure out which ones apply to us.  According to the Urban Dictionary a power couple is; A relationship between two people who are equally as cool as each other. They are as individually awesome and fun to be around as they are when they are together. Neither one depends on the other for their feelings of self worth- they know in their heart that they are just as valuable to the world as the other. Good looking, optimistic, and sparks a light in the world that people recognize that goes beyond a normal relationship. In a power couple, if one person is flawed, the other person makes up for their weaknesses in strength. Together they are the epitome of what anyone would desire in a relationship. They encourage goodness in the world and make it a better place by being together. And A couple who seems to have a fairy tale romance. Also, both parties involved in the power couple have tremendous influence over people around them because of their devastating good looks* and seemingly perfect relationship with their significant other.  Thankfully Laura brings the good looks as it's fairly obvious that I have a face for radio. Welcome to another episode of the Oil Dudes Podcast. This week's episode is all about the #strattcoshred. After an amazing 25 day trip across Korea, Indonesia and Australia we needed a reset from all the wine, bread, cheese and processed foods that we had consumed. We had an amazing time, but when we got home we noticed that some of our clothes no longer fit the way they did before we left. Hence the need for a #strattcoshred. It's a combination of the JuicePlus #shred10 program and taking it up a notch by adding in a few days of fasting to give your body a break from digesting food for a couple of days. We also added in some of our favourite and powerful supplements and essential oils from Young Living. The products from these 2 companies helped support us in healthy weight loss and healthy lifestyle change. The program is super simple. 2 JuicePlus shakes every day with a healthy meal thrown in there as well. JuicePlus capsules to get you all the nutrients and anti-oxidants from over 30 fruits, vegetables and grains in a capsule form. There are a handful of restrictions, but you can do anything for 10 days right? No Sugar No wheat No dairy No alcohol No processed food This is your shred10 program. But if you want more and have experience with programs, Laura's accelerated shred program is for you. This includes 4 days of fasting mixed in the 10 days. Throw in some Young Living supplements like Super B, Red Ningxia and Sulfurzyme and you have pretty powerful support system behind you. Want to know more? Then listen to the Podcast. We also have a special guest. Jessica France, holistic nutritionist, joins us and tells us why our program is successful and why all these supplements will help to support you through the program and beyond the program. We also video logged all 10 days of the program and posted the videos to YouTube. #strattcoshred This is a great opportunity for everyone involved.
