Fate is what life brings to you. Destiny is what you bring to life.-Will Craig Common belief is that fate and destiny are one in the same because most people aren't into semantics. You don't have to be obsessed with word definitions to know that there is a difference. Today, Sarah and I chat about the difference that can make a huge perspective shift for you in your life as you go about your own day to day, aka journey. Looking back on the many times that life has knocked me down, I share how fate and destiny were at play in the crucial inciting incident that has led me down the path of Muay Thai and the Champions Uprising quest. Fate are the cards you are dealt, and destiny, how you play them. Champ Up Chris and Sarah
“You are more than you think you are. There are dimensions of your being and a potential for realization and consciousness that are not included in your concept of yourself. Your life is much deeper and broader than you conceive it to be here. What you are living is but a fractional inkling of what is really within you, what gives you life breadth. And depth.” -Joseph Campbell We are back! Took a week off since we were in PR, on a mission for some R&R, but also a mission of sharing Muay Thai with our peeps on “Isla De Encanto”. Being there not only gave us time to reconnect with friends and folks that love Muay Thai, it also blessed us with time to reconnect with ourselves, reminding us of why we started the Champ Up Chat in the first place. Listen in as we talk about the internal conflicts that we all face on a daily basis. We are all champions in this journey called life, but we sometimes let theses struggle cover up our true essence. We let the “7 Dictators” rule our lives. When it comes to getting unstuck and back in the fight, it's not just about “sucking it up” or accepting the cards we are dealt, then settling for less and lowering your standards. It's about agreeing to find another way, focusing on the tools to guide you through the battle. Then after finding the another way, being aware that down the road, you will do it all over again. That is the cycle of Champions Uprising. Don't just accept or acknowledge your disappointments and hardships, agree to find a way to grow through what you go through. Champ Up!! Chris and Sarah

You have plans on getting to the C-suite or launching a business but ultimate success seems as far away today as ever. You’re at the right place because you can get there from here. And I can help. Who I Am I’m a speaker, coach, and former Division I All-American wrestler that helps motivated former athletes to reach their full potential by getting clarity on what they really want and taking aggressive action to lead their ideal life not just despite their prior failures but because of them. I’m a husband and father of four. And I’m a serial entrepreneur. I’ve launched multiple successful businesses as well as the obligatory failed one. I’ve been the executive director of a non-profit and have raised millions of dollars. I’ve worked in sales. I’ve even been a Division I head coach. While I was born in a blue-collar home I have spent my life surrounded by Olympians, CEO’s and millionaires. Jim Rohn said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” I’ve been lucky. I’ve learned the habits of successful people and guess what. You’re just like them. I know because I know your type. You’re programmed for hard work, which is a prerequisite for success, but you’ve never been shown how to use what you know to create the life you want with the tools you have. I will show you how. That’s the value of your education as someone who aims high. You are prepared to be as successful as your wildest dreams will allow. Here I will teach you, with the help of brilliant minds that have been shaped by failure, struggle, and adversity, to be who you want to be. I sense that you want this because you have read this far.
