In today's episode Nicky P and Eric review Immolation, episode six of season three of the expanse. Most of the episode is Nicky P geeking out about how in love with a single scene he is. He dares say it’s likely the greatest scene in a sci-fi film ever. If you’ve watched the show it’s unlikely you don’t immediately know which scene is being discussed, which makes Nicky skeptical of Eric having actually watched the episode. Either way Prax, Amos & Dr Strickland create a moment that solidifies who each character is at their core. To really hear what’s up though you have to listen, or watch for yourself. Wikipedia Synopsis Believing Holden's group to be Martian Marines, Mao and Strickland prepare to use the children as hostages. The boy hybrid attacks Bobbie. A missile hits and infects the Agatha King. Holden captures Mao. Amos kills Strickland. An infected Cotyar destroys the Agatha King to stop the protomolecule. Naomi tells Johnson about the hybrid missiles, and he destroys them. On Earth, Anna exposes Errinwright who admits his treason. Esteban orders Errinwright's arrest. Mao is brought to Avasarala as a prisoner, Bobbie recovers with Alex, Prax spends time with Mei, and Holden reunites with Naomi. A large protomolecule structure takes off from the surface of Venus. In today’s episode Nicky P and The Rebel With A Cause review Triple Point, episode five of season three of The Expanse. Today’s episode was a real wild and wooly one. Souther attempts a mutiny against Admiral Nguyen and loses but ends up sparking a UNN internal battle as ships defect against the admiral. The Martians watch as their enemy attacks itself and decides the Errinwright video is the real deal. Naomi goes and sets herself against the Roci crew admitting she gave Fred Johnson a protomolecule sample. And if that wasn’t enough Mao proves he’s only part human by ordering Mei be infected for testing. In the end will she be saved or is it too late? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/rebelwithacause/message
Cat fights her technical difficulties, while Errinwright finally gets his time in the spotlight on the podcast! We dive deep into the politics this week when we discuss Eros and how government officials seem to view it, how the show handles death of minor characters, and the role that Mormons and religion play within the narrative. In today’s episode Nicky P and Eric give their review of IFF, episode two of season three of the expanse. We watch in horror as all the worst parts of humanity bubble to the surface and smother the path of kindness and understanding. Is that Errinwright smothering newcomer Doctor Pastor Anna Volovodov? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/rebelwithacause/message
In today’s episode Nicky P and Eric review Assured Destruction, episode three of season three of The Expanse. It is abundantly clear, three episodes in, that season three refuses to pull off the gas. There is almost a nonsensical amount of material in this single episode. Errinwright convinces Esteban to start a pre-emptive war with Mars and end it to unite humanity against whatever unknown threat is growing in the storms of Venus. This alone could be an entire episode but nay nay. Instead we get Cotyar on the Agatha King as prisoner at the same time UNN Admiral Nguyen has arrived to strut around and swing his dick in his former superiors face. Captain Souther isn’t buying everything he is told and manages to extract some information from Cotyar before Nguyen and his men take complete control of the ship. Head spinning yet? We haven’t even got to IO where Mao is ready to pull the plug on the Protomolecule project before Dr Strickland convinced him there’s reason to continue. Oh and Alex gets a message from his family and some closure while Naomi and Avasarala affirm they’re never gonna get along. Whew. I think that’s everything. Some shows entire seasons don’t cover this much ground. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/rebelwithacause/message

In today's episode Nicky P and Eric review Reload, episode four of season three of the expanse. In the episode the crew of the Roci faces a mutiny in response for a good deed, We see Prax continue on down his slow road into Amosville. Erriwright comes closer to his come-upance and Mao waffles yet again on the shutdown of the research project on Io. Season three just continues to build on the character, Amos and frankly stacks so much of the comic relief on him. "Did I miss it?" Another killer episode in the books is what that sounds like. Anna is disgusted and prepares to leave. The crew is very low on fuel and prepares to take some from a defeated Martian ship, but find three surviving Martian Marines. Shawn Doyle joins Andrea and Shannon to discuss his role on The Expanse, his motorcycle, handstands and musicals, and even turns the interview on our hosts!
Time to wrap up our trip to The Expanse and say goodbye to the Belta Lowda’s and InyaLowda’s. Well, until season 4, or until we decide to discuss the novels. We finish up discussing season 3 and we spend a lot of time discussing if we really want Admiral Souther leading our fleet and if Errinwright is actually a bad guy or just an uber nationalist acting out of a misplaced sense of tribal loyalty to his own. Yeah, that sentence is a little crazy and made most people label a liberal. Oh well. We also talk about where season four might be heading and the awesome discovery that whatever built the rings was destroyed by something they found…and what is Ghost Miller’s real purpose?Next week - horror month returns! In this latest episode, I dive into the filler episodes of DCTV, why Errinwright needs to be knocked down, how Aggretsuko is everything, why you should be watching 3% and the latest My Hero Academia and Kdramas that I've been watching. I also give a NON-SPOILER review of my feels on Avengers Infinity War. I wanted to give ya'll a chance to see it for yourselves, no holding back next week!
The Expanse is back! Errinwright continues to prove he's a chess master. Bobby, Coytar, and our saucy queen Avasarla think faster than a speeding missle or missles in this case, and the crew formerly known as Roci spiral in this amazing premiere.
