Matt ('03) and Kristin (Coleman) Campbell ('01) spend a few minutes catching up with JDew and Holly as they relate how Kristin's dad, Dr. Fred Coleman, bet that Matt would ask her out when he came to BJU as a freshman, and what the Lord has taught them over the years since graduation. Plus JDew expresses his feelings concerning a demerit Matt gave him for a funny reason! Do you know a fellow alum who should be on the podcast to talk about what they learned at BJU? Send an email to bjualums@gmail.com and JDew will be in touch! Subscribe to the BJU Alumni Relations Podcast for more episodes like this one! Hey Folks! What better way to hang out on a nice day than to make a great beer with family. This week we get to get caught up with Fred and his daughter Melissa and see what it's like to brew as a family. Just a heads up we did have so audio/internet issues so there will be delays in some of the interview. So a while back I asked if anyone wanted to talk about the adventure in brewing and Fred was the first one to answer the call Fred lives Phoenix Arizona area, where he does most of his brewing, but does spend about five months in the summer back at his family cabin in Minnesota. Fred says "I don't do a lot of brewing there but as of last year a friend and I started brewing up there so I think I'll increase my brewing activity in Minnesota". Fred first home brewed with his brother in the late 1980's. That didn't last long and then in 2017 bought a Mr. Beer kit. After a couple batches he bought an beginners extract kit and after a year or so started brewing all-grain BIAB. This has worked well for him with his eyesight. There is much more to Freds Story so have a listen and let me know if you wold like to talk about your adventure on the show. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/dan-matthews2/message
