Hannah Borg is a repeat guest for the MtoM. We talked to her just as she was ready to graduate from the University of Nebraska in 2019. Now she's left Lincoln for the home farm to become a chicken producer. We find out what life has been like in the barns, what's prepared her for the dynamics at home and how it has actually worked to be side-by-side with her family in business. She's asked for grace more than once, but says she wouldn't trade it for the world.
When Hannah Borg set off for college, she didn’t picture herself returning to the family farm, much less managing thousands of chickens with her Mom. Today, she’s the 6th generation to work on the Nebraska operation. As a young farmer she’s carrying on cattle and cropping traditions while bringing new opportunities to the farm. Join host, Natalina Sents, and Guest Host, Rob Sharkey, to learn how Hannah has embraced the poultry learning curve and addressed the new dynamic to the relationship with her parents.
