Porsche AG In 5:19,55 Minuten hat Timo Bernhard am vergangenen Freitagmorgen die 20,832 Kilometer lange Nordschleife des Nürburgrings umrundet. Das bedeutet eine Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit von 233,8 km/h auf der anerkannt schwierigsten Rennstrecke der Welt. Am Steuer des Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo unterbot Bernhard damit den bisherigen Streckenrekord von Stefan Bellof um 51,58 Sekunden.   Foto: Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG   35 Jahre und 31 Tage blieb Bellofs Rekordrunde von 6:11,13 Minuten unangefochten. Der 1985 in Spa-Francorchamps tragisch verunglückte Gießener galt als das größte Ausnahmetalent seiner Zeit. Er fuhr seinen Rekord am 28. Mai 1983 mit einem 620 PS starken Rothmans Porsche 956 C im Training zum 1000-Kilometer-Rennen. Auch seine Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit betrug über 200 km/h. Der aktuelle Erfolg ist bereits der zweite Streckenrekord für den Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo: Am 9. April 2018 war Neel Jani mit der Weiterentwicklung des dreimaligen Le-Mans-Siegerautos in Spa schneller als die Formel 1 gefahren. Der 34-jährige Porsche-Werksfahrer aus der Schweiz – Le-Mans-Gesamtsieger und Langstreckenweltmeister 2016 – blieb auf dem 7,004 Kilometer langen Grand-Prix-Kurs unter der bisherigen Qualifying-Bestmarke von Lewis Hamilton.   Timo Bernhard Foto: Dr. Ing. h.c. Porsche AG Belgien war übrigens die erste Station der sogenannten Porsche Tribute-Tour, bei der Michelin als langjähriger Partner die Rennwagen mit seinen Hightech-Reifen ausstattet.  Für die Tribute-Tour startete Michelin ein maßgeschneidertes Entwicklungsprogramm mit dem Ziel, die Leistungsfähigkeit der Reifen um rund 15 Prozent zu steigern und die Belastbarkeit im Vergleich zum traditionellen Langstrecken-Rennsport deutlich zu erhöhen. Porsche AG   Das neue Rekordfahrzeug, der Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo, ist eine modifizierte Weiterentwicklung des 919 Hybrid, mit dem der Automobil- und Industriezulieferer Schaeffler und Porsche gemeinsam in den Jahren 2015, 2016 und 2017 sowohl das 24-Stunden-Rennen von Le Mans als auch jeweils den Fahrer- und den Herstellertitel in der FIA-Langstreckenweltmeisterschaft (WEC) gewonnen hatten.
