More than a decade back, I hopped on the bus as an embedded reporter, covering a Northeast jaunt for then up-and-coming indie band Aqueous.  I'd never met any of the band members, or their manager, Josh Holtzman, previous to that road trip.  By the end of that mini-tour, I knew that I'd laid the ground work for some friendships that, time has proven, were built to last.  Today, Josh Holtzman and his business partner Grace Vesneske are the driving force behind premier music venue Buffalo Iron Works and independent production company Twenty6 Productions.  Long before pundits were tossing around terms like “the Buffalo Renaissance,” Holtzman and Vesneske were working tirelessly to help resurrect the long-abandoned Cobblestone District of downtown Buffalo through their inventive and forward-looking booking at Iron Works. Their fighting spirit and never-say-die attitude helped them guide their businesses through the pandemic with their integrity intact. Josh Holtzman is a fourth-generation entrepreneur who knew at an early age that he wanted to become a leader in business. A successful entrepreneur and a seasoned business coach, Josh is also an Expert Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) Implementer. Having had multiple successful exits under his belt, Josh is quite the serial entrepreneur. Though already successful, the real shift came when Josh adopted EOS. Josh's career began while operating a merchandise company which worked closely with touring artists to meet their needs on the road. From there his career grew into artist management, touring, booking, and business management. In 2014 he set his sights on a newly opened business, Buffalo Iron Works, and successfully took it from a local bar into a nationally recognized live music venue hosting over 250 concerts, private events & fundraisers each year. His work within the venue has allowed a once abandoned historic building to become a valuable asset in the resurgence of downtown Buffalo, NY. Both of them own and operate Buffalo Iron Works & Twenty6 Productions keeping them in tune with both the music industry and events industry on a daily basis.
