Luca Guadagnino's Suspiria paints a haunting portrait of consent and female empowerment. It also has a confusing ending. Melissa, a first generation American from an Italian family, explains the film's conclusion and compares it to the surprisingly different 1977 original. Also, Marcus is flabbergasted by Tilda Swinton's powers of deception. Spoilercasts are short bonus episodes that break down spoilers and endings for movies and television shows covered in previous episodes. We highly recommend you listen to the previous full episode on Suspiria before listening to this spoilercast.

"This is my first British podcast," Jane Fonda tells Helen O'Hara towards the end of their funny and candid chat in this week's episode, which just goes to show that even a living legend notches up new experiences all the time. We're proud, and honoured, to be Fonda's first, as she chats about 9 To 5, which is re-released in cinemas this week, Grace & Frankie, political activism and more. Then Helen (with a little help from Chris Hewitt) has a chat with Outlaw King's Aaron Taylor-Johnson, during which the man who once played John Lennon claims he can't play a musical instrument. Didn't stop Ringo, Aaron. Back in the podbooth, Chris and Helen are joined by James Dyer to answer a question about Clint Eastwood, pay tribute to the late Stan Lee in a special section, and review Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald and Luca Guadagnino's Suspiria. Trust us - there's nary a wasted minute.

Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan are here to inform you on one of the most interesting remakes made this century with Luca Guadagnino's Suspiria. They make sure to compare and contrast with Dario Argento's 1977 original film just in case anyone needed to hear that. They go into the multiple changes and additional plotlines in the new film as well as how (un)necessary some of them ended up being. Dylan and Chris took the time to see The Other Side of the Wind, the final film from Orson Welles released by Netflix. They go into the background troubles of the film as well as the legitimacy of labelling it an Orson Welles film when he wasn't around to finish it. Dylan watched the companion documentary, They'll Love Me When I'm Dead, directed by Morgan Neville, to confirm all the theories he had about the film as he watched it. Next week, Chris and Dylan witness the new Bad Robot film, Overlord. As the first R-rated release by the production company, will it give them another attempt at making a good movie? Should they keep handing multi million dollar films to untested directors? Find out next week. You can find Film Fallout every week on iTunes, Soundcloud, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as anything else that pulls an RSS Feed. The podcast (@filmfalloutcast), Chris (@HammerkopCross), and Dylan (@DreaminDylanS) are also on Twitter. You can also find Chris' film writing at goombastomp.com. Please feel free to share the podcast with anyone who may enjoy it, and rate and subscribe on iTunes to help spread the word as much as possible!
