His speed and illusive running style soon earned him the respect of everyone in the league. He spent the 1981 season playing in the CFL for the Montreal Allouettes. He returned to the NFL in 1982 with the Atlanta Falcons. Donald Hunt first arrived at the Philadelphia Tribune in 1983 and since then he has become one of the top sportswriters in Philadelphia. Hunt was inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame in 2017 and he has truly covered it all for the Tribune. In Episode #32 of "1-on-1 with Matt Leon," Matt sits down with Hunt to talk about how he got his start in sports writing.
