Mike Green is the head men's basketball coach at Salem Community College in South Jersey. The 2024-25 season was his first full season at the head of the program, and he led the Mighty Oaks to a 26-8 record and the program's first ever appearance in the NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament, where they earned a fifth-place finish. As a player, the Philadelphia native was a standout at Franklin Learning Center and played at Towson and Butler in college – helping Butler to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Sean Westerlund led the Bryn Athyn College men's basketball team to its first-ever United East Conference title and Division III NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025. The Lion's accomplished this feat in Westerlund's fifth year as head coach. Courtney Mix Davis was a star women's basketball player at Villanova University who was enshrined into the Big 5 Hall of Fame in 2024. She was a key member of the Vilanova team that stunned UConn in the 2003 Big East Championship Game, snapping the Huskies 70-game winning streak. She was a 1,000-point scorer at Villanova and finished her career in the program's all-time top ten in rebounds, assists and steals. Hannah Nihill was one of the best players in Drexel University women's basketball history. A Cardinal O'Hara product, Nihill played in a Colonial Athletic Association record 153 games over her career and she is one of just two players in Drexel history to record career totals of more than 1,000 points, 500 assists and 300 steals.
