In this week’s episode, I really wanted to connect you all with one of the practices and principles that Millionaires William R. Patterson, Wendy Muhammad, and Billionaire Mike Roberts have all stressed in their interviews on the Raising Black Millionaires Show. The practice/principle I’m referencing is engaging and even prioritizing international travel with your children because of the mental expansion and sense of global placement it undoubtedly brings to children. Now, in my research of who would be the best person to really help me to get your feet wet and delve into this topic for you with, I couldn’t come up with anyone better than today’s guest. And you’ll understand why, after hearing this story. The Founder of Africa On My Back and the #BrilliantBlackBoys initiative. Peace Black People! Today we have with us the person who from the very first time I had a real conversation with her, I adopted her as my Unofficial Mentor. I called her my unofficial mentor, because it was never a formal arrangement, but I began to notice early on that every time I encountered her, my mind would expand immediately from the onset of our conversation. Before I’d even met her, she had been an accomplished model and owned several properties and a couple of preschools. That was nearly two decades ago. Today, she and her late husband have expanded their family brand into industries that include: talent management and music production (producing and managing some of our favorite artists); senior daycares; and Public Relations. And, I can’t wait for her to update us on some of the other areas of expansion she and her brand have branched into. With that, I’m sure you'll thoroughly enjoy my conversation with Laquita Muhammad!
