Megan recaps Ride Episode 3 'The McMurray Curse' solo this week as Wendy is as far from a ranch as you could possibly be! Listen in on the latest shenanigans of the McMurray family. Beau Mirchoff on Ride We loved the way Cash showed up this week. He was a rock for Missy when she needed support. He worked with his mom to prepare for the gala. And, when his family name was on the line he spoke up in their defense. BUT, hear us now, we're not a fan of the Beau/Valeria pairing we see brewing! Who is in Hallmark's New Show Called Ride? Nancy Travis plays McMurray matriarch Isabel. Missy McMurrary is played by Tiera Skovbye (2016's “Christmas Cookies”). Marcus Rosner (“The Love Club,” “Romance to the Rescue”) plays champion bull rider Austin McMurrary. Beau Mirchoff (2022's “Hidden Gems”) plays Cash McMurray. Tuff is played by Jake Foy (“A Little Daytime Drama,” “Love in Store”) Valeria is played by Sara Garcia who is completely new to Hallmark.
On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere rode to Lexington, Massachusetts to spread the alarm that the Regulars were marching. Revere made several important rides between 1774 and 1775, including one in September 1774 that brought the Suffolk Resolves to the First Continental Congress in Philadelphia. So why is it that we remember Paul Revere’s ride to Lexington and not any of his other rides? Why is it that we remember Paul Revere on the night of April 18, 1775 and nothing about his life either before or after that famous ride? Why is it that Paul Revere seems to ride quickly into history and then just as quickly out of it? In this episode we speak with four scholars to explore Paul Revere’s ride through history. In this episode I start out by reading the new mission statement for my podcast, and then look back over the podcast since its inception by reading the list of past episode titles and more importantly commenting on and giving my thoughts about each episode, what was significant about them, what they meant to me, and any updates I have on the topics they covered. If you have not listened to the back catalog of episodes this is a great way for you to find out which ones you missed that you might be interested in. Then you can queue them up to listen to in your favorite podcast app. Since the Thanksgiving holiday is approaching I thought it would also be appropriate to give thanks and talk about all of the people that I am thankful for regarding the sport of motorcycling that you and I love so much. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
